yeah I didn’t mean to sound defensive, just bullish… definitely though you were on target as im going to have to cut one more player than i bargained for now, was only saying it wasn’t as bad as all that since I’d planned for 3 wins out of the 4 and am happy overall with those players.

Yeah, it's best not to pay any heed to a satanic computer that thinks Kristaps has basically as much value as Luka rn I'd love to find an NBA gm just running their team on BBGM simulated player values though. Might explain Charlotte.

I mean i think the bigger issue might just be that it has Luka weirdly low. It's not just someone crappy like RJ Barrett or someone not-as-good like Porzingis is rated as high as him. It's everyone. Below Bradley Beal? Equal to Giddey and Bane? etc etc. But I think the sim has a lot more data on the backend than just the overall score so maybe he has a bunch of insane offense numbers that are just being pulled down by defense or something and it'll come out on the sim court!

Well the sim is pulling numbers from a range (i assume), so it might just be that instance. Just looking at what's left... should Josh Giddey be rated higher than Hali? Probably not. Is Paolo Banchero worse than Kelly Olynyk? Hell no!

Also a lot of NBA sims do that - players who are just average across the board can have a similar rating to someone considered a star if that star is more of a specialist, but those specific things from the star are so high they put up way bigger numbers.
