Wow going through my parent's house and I discovered they kept all my old games. The consoles aren't here, or they're somewhere else except for the SNES, but I found GC games including Pikmin 2, Animal Crossing, Wind Waker and the Zelda GC disc with multiple games, and Path of Radiance and among the Wii games was Radiant Dawn. Also Crazy Taxi and Simpson's Road Rage. I had a good GC collection. Those two final FE games I don't think will ever be remade so I may have find a used Wii at some point, but I guess that's easy to get? Otherwise, are AC Adapters easy to find because I bought my GC in the US (assuming I find it) but now live in France.

But I have Path CIB that I bought new for like $50 or 55 which was expensive at the time. My plan for if I ever actually get Covid (whether I have symptoms or not) is to take 2 weeks off work and blitz through Radiant Dawn and a few other games.

The cops who took me to the psych ward saw Stardew Valley, and it turns out all 3 of us like it. He liked the fishing map. Not sure on the other. But it was kind of a fun thing before I get disconnected before the outside world. Stardew really does have a huge amount of fans.

It’s a mixed bag, Hitchcock and scully were only good at their job if food was involved. Jake got in his own way a lot, and let Doug Judy go a lot lol Rosa was good at being a cop generally, as was amy This is probably far too much analysis for a show like that lol

It was a sitcom; they'd always let dumb personal bullshit get in the way of doing their jobs, but resolve it and solve the case by the end of the episode. It's not exactly aspirational that even the comically stern and stoic professional captain is a moody drama queen, who punishes his subordinates when his husband knows a math puzzle and he doesn't. Harry is more of a mixed bag, because you can make him spend more time preaching about the glories of communism than he does copping, which is actually cool, but Kim is a cop to the bone and that's not a compliment. The biggest issue will be having to get a North American Wii assuming mine isn't around/doesn't work. Which I don't see why it wouldn't work. Controllers aren't region locked so that problem is solved.

After that the show significantly devolved, because it turned out to be much harder to write funny dialogue for smart characters than for for whacky morons.

Thankfully if you homebrew them, they still have all the original GC hardware in them, minus the ports, so you can still play GC games as long as you have a wii classic controller
