That’s a pen any day. Anywhere on the field the ref blows for a foul when your follow through is bad. And did VAR check the earlier penalty call too? What a mess. I don’t understand the rules anymore.

I imagine some allowance is given for the fact that he’s a keeper and there aren’t many ways you can land when your arms are necessarily up in the air but that wasn’t really ambiguous at all. He was extremely late and nowhere near the ball
