All I know about Linus is that bringing him up apparently gets you auto-probed in YOSPOS so I'd already figured that certain segments of the tech community don't like him very much.

LTT just got too big. When they where running it out of their house they where rapidly growing out of was imo the good times. I don't think Linus is an actual merciless grade-A rear end in a top hat or anything, but the company has just gotten too big and he still treats it as his little vulnerable underdog company. I still watch their more stupid/yanky solutions videos from time to time but this whole thing doesn't surprise me.

Part of the problem is that LTT thinks they're serious and has spent a bunch of money setting up a testing lab.
