IMO he already used most of his political capital by hand waiving the Japanese reparation and made the Korean corporations to foot the cost (LOL). I doubt very much he can push forward any more pro-JP gestures. Something dramatic and scandalous is going to happen.

I had to buy a cellphone repair hotbed so I could unglue the phone screen and replace the battery myself on a perfectly usable Xiaomi mix 2s and an iPad mini 4 How is the EU making Apple use standard USBC port but not sue Apple/Xiaomi/Samsung billions for using user unreplaceable batteries?

When my wife travels to China on her green passport, IT gives her a burner work phone and laptop for the trip and she leaves her personal phone here. I guess private sector people would have to use their own precautions. After the Two Michaels, any Canadian not on a green passport is going to come under scrutiny though. Particularly after the CIA operation in China was rolled up.
