Common misconception that; that fun is relaxing. If it is, you're not doing it right.

Ok so it's a 225cc mountain board and it's dangerous af. It's sent 4 ppl to the hospital and thats when it had the 90cc motor. It's also not finished so I strongly advise rebuilding or re imagining the whole project. It was a ton of fun and super powerful before I made it a solid axle in the rear and that thro everything off and I lost interest. The brakes were never finished and steering is compromise now that it's 2 wheel drive. The 225cc motor has less then a few hours in it.
It was an absolute blast when it was one wheel drive with the 90cc motor but the solid axle and 225cc was just too much. So If anyone is looking for a fun rear end project, look no further!! 400$ obo

1988 Nissan Pulsar NX Sportbak - RARE RAD Ttop Wagon 7 hours ago Ontario cars & trucks -by owner posted:

Please read the whole ad. If it's still up, its still available.

Unapologetically 80s, this rare car checks off a lot of my favorite car features including; pop-up headlights, t-tops, wagon body and a manual transmission. The only modular car ever made with the option to swap out its regular trunk lid for the rare sportbak wagon canopy or leaving it off to turn it into a UTE. It will come with the extra trunk lid and SE frontend conversion. The car is lowered on BC coilovers and sits on rare period correct 15" Work Equip 01s wrapped in Toyo Extensa Tires. Lots of new parts including tie rods, oem sway bar, alternator, battery, headlights, radiator and more. The car is complete with no mechanical issues, no leaks and smog in hand.

The car took me 2 years to find and 4 more years to source all the parts, so I’m in no rush to sell. Just hoping to find someone that can appreciate this unique piece of automotive history. They’ll never make another like it.

Feel free to message with any questions.

Located in Southern California.

I don't have the space... I already asked the missus if she would mind me selling my Scion for it and she was not a fan at all. Something about adjusting my Capri's timing to get it to cold start in <0°F weather when we were running errands really seemed to sour her opinion of me relying on old cars with difficult to source parts

There's someone a few blocks from my parents' who has 3 Pulsar NX Sportbaks in their garage. I've haven't seen them drive them in years so I don't know if they still work or not. I assume the rear canopy can be removed because it's not body colored on the one's I've seen.

Do they rust quickly or something? I've only seen a handful 90's NX hatches(coupes?) for sale in the Chicago area in all of the time I've looked

80's and 90's Nissan cars (or any japanese make) are one of the least rustproof cars made at the time. In the 2000's they finally unlocked the hidden tech of body galvanization, probably from the new pact with Renault.

Probably. I haven't seen them on the road in several years and when I did they were only driven in the spring, summer, and fall. Never in the snow

As far as I remember all the sportbak pieces were gray from the factory. And yeah they’re removable, then the car just becomes a coupe.

Looks like someone is trying to get rid of an inherited vehicle. The fact that someone gutted it, absolutely means water damage. So you basically need to rip out walls, ceilings and floors and replace all living components after you track down and repair the water damage. That means new tanks, pumps, DC battery, rear AC, all of plumbing and only then you get to go out and try to buy panels or hire somebody to make you an actual interior. I can do it all myself, and would still spend about 15 grand. If you have to pay people to work on it, good effing luck
