Really wish BG3 characters didn't sulk when you take them out of the party Karlach is my favorite but she's redundant vis-a-vis party dynamics so until I unlock the respec master or whatever she's benched but I don't like it

ACVI is pretty intense making way through Act I, upgrading and finding good combos, figuring out mission type load outs movement, distancing for lazer sword, timing missiles between, there are balances and styles starting to emerge

Just beat Armored Core 6. Pretty hard game but if you time your core rolls it's not so bad. The estus fuel system was a pretty neat addition to the game but I didn't need to use it much. From has done it again! Too all the people struggling with the tutorial boss just keep trying you'll figure it out eventually.

Afterimage complete, just one final secret boss ending left and the final chapter of the NG+ which is just an extra bit of story at the end. Clocked in at 40 hours and getting probably 95% completion and I think all bosses. Verdict: Extremely, extremely good. Story is a bit scattershot but it's there, way better than reviews are saying and I can only guess they're mental weaklings or one of the post-release patches sorted things out a bit better. World is gorgeous, huge, and open and combat is fun. Great map for anybody who wants some sunshine and green in a genre that generally takes place in a grimy dungeon. Weapons are fun and combos combined with unique skills and bonuses keep things fresh. Most of the bosses weren't terribly memorable, probably because most were on the easy side even for me, but I also think I just stumbled on a really powerful setup despite all the weapons feeling pretty good. It's got estus which is kind of weak which is supplemented by consumable healing, and it was nice to just go berzerker mode when a boss was almost dead just racing dps which I chug potions. Final secret boss was a ton of fun, so were a few others. Downsides are there's a bit of a lack of direction at parts, and there were spots where performance was pretty bad on Switch but thankfully not in any actual boss fights where it was very smooth. The light RPG stuff may be a turn-off for some but I loved how much of a change of pace it was after HK, and as long as you're doing even a little exploring you'll never have to farm for anything.
