There's a pretty decent concert venue by me. From Wikipedia: Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre (originally World Music Theatre and formerly New World Music Theatre, Tweeter Center, First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre and Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre) It opened in 1990, so all those names in just over 30 years. Now I just call it "the venue in Tinley" and everyone knows what I'm talking about.

It's been 14 years and I have still never heard anyone call the Sears Tower the "Willis Tower" without rolling their eyes and/or making the jackoff hand gesture.

It's funny how even the old names were advertising, but the new names are so much worse. There are plenty of people in Los Angeles nostalgic for the Staples Center, now that it's the loving Crypto.com arena.

PDX checking in. Rose Garden wasn’t that great to begin with so Moda Center (health plan) isn’t that much worse. E: God dammit it worked on me. By “health plan” I meant “health insurance company”. Uh advertising works?
