Luigi sounds pretty similar until the last clip. Mario sounds like someone doing a Mario voice when they tell you they can do a really good Mario voice, and they really insist on making you listen to it. Which is still better than alot of things we could've got. Even Mickey Mouse wasn't 1:1 when they replaced him. And Disney are freaks about that kind of thing.

The thing about Nintendo though, if you turn off the flower voices their data scientists will say "Huh according to this people hate all voices and dialogue" and then they'll like, remove dialogue from their next rpg

I wondered how Nintendo would handle 2D Marios after Mario Maker put a cap on the SMB1 -> World -> New era. Wonder has a lot of cool concepts and ideas. Sorry for doubting!!!
