Looks like the game doesn't pause on someone collecting a power up or dying. Which is a very good change.

The game pausing when someone got a power up resulting in death and then a cascade as people mess up from those is always funny, when you are watching it happen to someone else. But when you are playing it, it is happening to you, and it isn't funny. So it's good they removed it.

The spritework is amazing. The soundtrack is memorable and polished, an instant classic. Combat is engaging and challenging.

People were pressed over Resident Evil 7 because they thought it was a reboot and their 20+ years of knowledge of the stupidest lore known to man was going to go down the drain. As soon as people saw an Umbrella logo everyone is happy again.
