Even the Twins dugout just wants to go home. I've never seen a game so in want of a mercy rule.

The Twins should use a position player pitcher for funsies

Actually has a team ever done that with a huge lead? Or only when down by a lot?

e: ok I just tuned in and they're doing exactly that lol

Alright it's the post-selloff Angels and Tampa lost, this should be a slam dunk win for the O's. Surely Grayson will keep this one under control and not let things get out of hand. Or do things like come inches away from giving up a 3 run bomb after we score some runs for him.

Well that weekend was more or less not that cool, but what the GOMS ever, boys. It's GOMS time.

Also GOMES, cause hell Yeah. I've been half-assedly rooting for the Cubs this year due to my co-worker. You know what? Rooting for the Cubs is loving exhausting. Those two Reds games were soul crushing and I wasn't technically that invested in the outcome. I don't know how you Cubspost though that kind of thing, but keep it up. This season has ruled, Cubs are playing meaningful baseball again in a year I'd though they'd once again cash out at the deadline and cap at like 70 wins. If they actually manage to coup the division from the Brewers down the stretch I will lose my mind.

The Reds games sucked rear end but were predictable: Ross is an utterly moronic in-game button-pusher particularly when the game is close. He threw Leiter to the wolves because a couple lefties were due up and then after he predictably blew it went on to say post-game "Yeah I knew Leiter would be gassed since it was his fourth appearance in five days" as this was a defense of his decision to go with him to close out a one run game.

Yeah it’s this. I was ready to write the season off in the spring, they had a good run differential but kept getting unlucky/Ross’d. But it’s been a really fun ride this summer. Any postseason appearance would be playing with house money at this point.

And speaking of money, Tommy “Wallet” Ricketts, re-sign Belli and sign Ohtani, please and thank you
