You'd take Fields over DJ Moore? Cousins to Jefferson/Moore would be pretty dangerous.

I think Addison and KJ Osborne are pretty good as a WR trio and despite laughing about his contract Hockenson is still really really good as well. And given Cousins' age and contract I don't think it's that out there to expect the Vikings will be looking for a new QB next year.

If I were debating taking a different Bear it would be Herbert.

The funniest thing about this (with a significant amount of hindsight) was that Darnold gave us a head start by throwing a pick 6 with his first play in the league.

I think the Bears are going to get torched Sunday because that is how things work, but it is fun to dream about fields looking good and absolutely killing the packers and how fun that would be.

Great sign. Would be a big bummer to have both him and Watson out for the opener.

If Watson's out then we can just use Musgrave in his role  Everyone is talking him up being a TE taking a long time to develop but everything I've seen in practice and preseason suggests that the Packers are effectively treating him as a receiver. Has he done any blocking? I genuinely can't recall if I've seen him do anything other than standard downfield blocking that other WRs are expected to do.

I currently a hold a “I need to see the hype manifest itself in convincing wins before I fully buy in” opinion.

I’ve spent decades getting burned by the Lions. I want to believe. But i’m just not quite there as of yet.

Worst case scenario: Jordan Love passes for like 400 yards with 3 TDs.

Best case scenario: Fields throws for 300 and runs for 100 with a few TDs.

What I think is actually going to happen: Neither QB gets to 200 passing yards and it's just a trash football game from two teams that won't reach 10 wins this year. The Packers will still win, of course.

What is going to happen is Love is going to look incredible throwing for 350 yards and 4 TDs and everyone has a look out here comes Jordan Love story but then it turns out that the bears defense just absolutely blows and Love is sort of ok.

It is because the team is bad, thanks for asking.

I'd be a lot more excited if they weren't playing the Packers week one.
