Thanks all! We also got to take photos with the mayor (my wife’s mom works for the city and arranged it as a surprise). We’re pretty sure she’s the first trans bride to take photos with any mayor of our city, so we also (probably) made gay history!

Lovely, goongratulations you two. My bestie had her gay wedding performed by awesome drag queens, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. I was the best man, and also the only man(I guess, it doesn't matter so I say man) in the wedding party.

Went to a brand new bar that opened up a week or two ago that is a self-proclaimed nerd bar. They did have a laminated bar with a map of Middle Earth which I happen to have above my fireplace so I was sort of interested. It was kind of a clusterfuck at first with the taps putting out all foam and flat beer and a bunch of alcohol issues but they were very nice and had ski-ball. And a Terminator 2 pinball machine. And an AvP game. The bartender gave me maybe 2 free pints due to all of the problems but it was a fun night.  The T2 pinball game lost a rubber band on one of the paddles when I was playing and told the owners and we were standing around for like 15 minutes on how to fix it because is some proprietary old shti but they had someone come like a half hour later and remove the top and replaced the paddles with new bands and gave me 3 free games.   Ski-ball is my favorite.

There was/is a local barcade I used to go to in Ottawa, house of targ, and the t2 pinball machine was my absolute favorite especially on freeplay night. Was maybe a 5$ cover on Sunday nights and usually drew a pretty big crowd. I ain't looking so hot here but I found this on my phone just now and it was June 25th of this year. It's me testing out a great bass line after I learned it. I was using my tiny Blackstar bass amp which is a portable battery powered (I was using AC) amp that you can hold in your hand and that's why it sounds like poo poo. The only difference is I chose to put mine on. Not much I can do about my resting bitch face and busted nose. I think some people are intimidated by me, but I'm just here to collect a paycheck. I'm super friendly come talk to me, I'll help you find what you need, even if it's not my department.
