The guy who invented inktober copywrited the name inktober and the art community threw a sh*t fit. It isn't like you can't just make an ink drawing every day of october and call it whatever you want. Thanks Sigma!  As for the whole Inktober thing, yeah it sucks. I had fun and participated in a few of them years ago before this. The list of possible replacements is kind of ehhh, partly because the name "Inktober" is so simplistic and accurately describes it, and some of the replacement names seem like they are trying too hard. Inktober also had the benefit of being one of the first "monthly challenge" prompts that I remember. Now it's littered with similar things, like the "swordtember" from last page. As you said, it's all about consistency and jump starting a daily habit of creating.

Very nice doggos and birbs! I especially like the depth you gave the branches in back with the lighter gray and the speckles of pink to add a bit of color. Gives it a great three dimensionality. This is a very early WIP, but thought it would be fun to share. Still figuring out shapes and proportions. Hopefully I'll finish tonight, but probably tomorrow.

 Protagonist's workplace in the VN. I'm not a backgrounds person and without darkness, mould and ichor to cover up stuff it's a lot harder to do for me, but with this done that should take care of all the BG's I need for Spooktober. For now.
