A large fast-moving thing can be scary. That's why most of the fish in that tank are on the opposite side from the cat viewport. Does it bother them? I don't think they stay awake nights worrying about it. Avoiding potential predators is just what a fish do. The cats probably don't bother them anymore than a giant human head staring at them. It probably own't matter anyway. They are cats. Someone obviously went to a lot of trouble and expense to amuse them, which means they will play with it 10 minutes and then ignore it for the rest of their lives.

Fish can get used to stuff. Most tanks I've been around the fish either totally ignore humans, or associate them approaching the tank with being fed.

Today, we took Henry to the dog park again, even though it is very hot and he is not comfortable in hot weather. The first dog was Roscoe - he was an absolutely enormous boy, I didn't get to ask what he was, but he looked like some kind of cross between a St. Bernard and a Tibetan Mastiff - his head alone was bigger than all of our Henry. He was, however, a very gentle large boy. He tried to sniff Henry's butt, but Henry was afraid of his extreme largeness. The only other dog was a very sweet golden retriever girl. She only wanted to hang out with the other people in the park - she was a very committed leaner and collector of cuddles, ear rubs and butt scratches. Henry took full advantage of her relaxation while getting cuddled to have a good old sniff. He did try to climb up on her side, but i told him that was rude, so he backed off. It was a very busy day, so now he is very tired and sleepy
