Not even first comment, it became an entire thing for the better part of a month. DTRPG had to remove multiple comments that were just people trying to gotcha the game over "and yet you charge money" or whining about the price, there was a thread on RPGnet where people were complaining about it, etc.

The price point, in a vacuum, is probably the least egregious thing about Far West.

This is bizarre. If they were talking about a PDF you had written in 1994 and your 'costs' had been taking a day to scan it in and clean it up, perhaps there would be some logic to it, but presumably HWI's price point covers your costs and until you reached some level where all of that had been paid off long ago, or it had been such a runaway success that all your costs had long ago been covered... you would not actually be increasing your profits.

Capitalism is when thing cost money, I guess.

Or just wait for poo poo to go on sale or show up in Bundles of Holding! It is very easy not to pay full price for RPG PDFs if you can wait like six months to read them.

it's definitely a different situation but let's not understate the size of Unity. They are a huge business that just exists in a much larger pond. They have a ton of influence over the viability of video games, especially anything smaller than AAA.
