This is a Case 150, the largest traction engine ever built. What makes this extra amazing is that it is not a restoration, it’s a replica. Case only made a handful of these in this size, none survived (they were too big for the metallurgy of the time and wore out their gears super fast). This one was built from scratch by a man who obtained the drawings for it from Case IH and cast his own parts. He has a Youtube channel that documented the build. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uy5LKHmUjJk&pp=ygUZY2FzZSAxNTAgaHAgc3RlYW0gdHJhY3Rvcg%3D%3D How it compares to normal sized steam traction engines - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=inhhFUATcHo&pp=ygUZY2FzZSAxNTAgaHAgc3RlYW0gdHJhY3Rvcg%3D%3D

I am having the balcony on my condo redone and THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE TAPE MEASURES OR LEVELS OR SCREWDRIVERS. It's so so bad. I went out and put tape on everything they need to fix and gave up after 20 items. So much split wood and so many pointy screw bits sticking out. My neighbors side railings... one curves up and one curves down? They ain't getting paid unless they do the job "right" and if mine looks this terrible the other 11 do too. I would be ashamed to put out this quality of work.

This is the neighbor's wonky railings: hosed up the siding real good also wtf with that wood: This railing is just huge splinters galore, it bows up in the middle, and you can see one of the cracked uprights. There are a LOT of those: There is a screw sticking out there and this is one of the better cutouts:

It all seems small but add it up and realize that this is not just the issues in the pics they are just examples from my balcony and that a bunch of other balconies probably suck too? I paid good money for this. gently caress them.
