This season Spurs win the League cup without him then don't win another trophy again with him back. Also having missed a season he never gets the PL record either.

Direct freekicks aren't as effective as ones that set up a good header so there's some argument to be made there unless you have some insane specialist to take them. For all Kimmich's strengths it doesn't feel he has the midfield space under control in a way others do so both the Bayern and Germany midfield have looked a bit more shaky in recent years than they should.
