Can you shoot yourself in Fallout 4 VR?

My only experience with shooty VR games was a PS4VR demo of some kind and I tried doing that and discovered I could do that

Why does Khajiit have to go to prison this time?

There was also that time in Fallout 76 where the dev room with literally all ingame items could be teleported to by players

Of course made funnier by the reaction of banning people who they thought had gone into said room - including any people who had an item from the room that was traded to them by other players.

The funniest way was in Skyrim VR where you could set your headset position high then lay on the floor and reach down under the world to get to them

FO4VR you could also just shove your hands through the glass case and get the Cryolater early

Along those lines, I found a locked weapon rack in Starfield where the gun spawned in the wrong orientation and was clipped through the glass, so I just grabbed it. :v:

I haven't played Starfield yet, but apparently a lot of the weapon and armor cases actually have small cracks in their doors. So you can just swipe equipment by lining up at just the right angle and pulling a spacesuit or whatever through the door gap.

I've been slowly making my way through the game, but unfortunately haven't seen too many notable bugs. The biggest one so far was a scientist spawning outside of his research facility on the moon, everyone else is in their giant space suits and he's just out there chilling in a sweater and slacks :v:

Showing its age? It's a Nintendo handheld, they've always been built as cheap as possible and low-powered to keep up battery life, thus being years behind everything else tech-wise even when new. Remember, the original Game Boy came out after the Atari Lynx.

As much as it pains me to defend Nintendo, this is frankly just a badly-done port, like someone jury-rigging a way to run Doom 3 on a 3DFX Voodoo card by forcing all the settings so far below minimum that they pop out in China.

Which was clever because it turns out the only stat that really mattered in a portable was battery life.

I guess you could also use a Game Gear or an Atari Lynx to fend off a bear attack if you had nothing else handy.

Doctor Bishop posted:

Remember, the original Game Boy came out after the Atari Lynx.
Only in Europe and some other regions that didn't get the Game Boy until the early 90s. The Game Boy launched in Japan in April 1989 and North America in July 1989, months before the Lynx. Of course, that doesn't change the fact the Game Boy's tech was much less advanced in general.

[e] The Switch uses mobile tech from 2015, so a port of a PS5/Xbox Series game like Mortal Kombat 1 was always going to be compromised.

Yeah the biggest problem is the low memory and bandwidth. Games and engines are super greedy VRAM hogs these days.
Some slight overclocks on the memory fix a lot of stutters in ninty's own games.

Mk1 could have gone back to roots and made everything a prerendered sprite :v:

They should have just made a separate game, like they did in the Wii days. But that's on Netherrealm willing to throw a porting company under the bus, instead of spending the cash they paid them on a version of a game appropriate for the Switch.
