Former tag team partners collide as Shimizu continues trying to make the point that he deserves to be mentioned alongside the Reiwa 6 of Madoka Kikuta, Yuki Yoshioka, Shun Skywalker, Ben-K, Kota Minoura & Strong Machine J. A nice & beefy match been 2 of the larger men on the DG roster, not what you'd necessarily associate with the Dragongate style but a lot of fun.

So this is worth watching because you've got 3 of the biggest "new generation" DG guys against a team of the promotion's ace (YAMATO), figurehead (Dragon Kid) & a guy making his Japanese debut after training in the DG Dojo & then going off to Mexico for the last 12 months. And he's over day one in Korakuen Hall, impressively so. Nishikawa has said his main influence is Ricochet, he's 6' tall which is among the taller members of the DG roster, but he shows he can fly. Also learned some weird llave submissions while in Mexico. Exciting talent here, there's some awkward moments as he kind of stands around a little more than you expect in DG matches but it's the sort of thing he'll get with time. Well worth a watch.

I expected this to be good but for Andrade's quasi-face status to not work that well, but boy was I wrong. Bang Bang Gang at ringside was hilarious, the match was great, Switchblade is legit one of the best wrestlers in the world, and Andrade did some loving crazy stuff and had the crowd fully behind him, and the ending was perfection.
