There’s a whole thing in their book about Chris Kanyon being a close friend and them not being bothered about him being gay when he came out to them, and they repeated pretty much all of it on his DSOTR episode. Homophobia is probably not a thing for the bucks in 2023 even if it was at some point in history.

People forget that the bucks have been working since they were super young and grew up going to church in a trashy part of Southern California. (I know because I lived in that same exact area for years) I’m sure they were your bog standard Christian republicans for a while especially in the beginning but years of working with diverse people and traveling the world has probably opened them up to a lot of stuff they wouldn’t have been open to before.

I completely disagree with it. Wrestling is fluid and ebbs and flows. If Tony were to immediately put cassidy into a world title program or whatever the same people would be saying it’s too quick. Cassidy got over as a workhorse let him do a nice little mid card thing where he can help get some younger guys over and then you can put him into a bigger program.

I loving love Orange Cassidy and he's been cemented as a guy you can now slot into any program at any place on the card. World Champion OC could happen, but he doesn't immediately need to go after MJF.
