I can think of a bunch but the standout would have to be the final level of Driver for PS1. Dodging towncars that go twice your speed in a limo on ice that only affects you.

although not the worst. i dont remember getting that much into trouble on it

it's kinda funny how much people say "omfg From games are so hard! its just pure masochism!" and it's like, they're actually really generous and you can just brute-force victory by unga-bungaing. meanwhile a shitton of genesis and early psx games were loving insanely hard. like the Taz-Mania mine cart level

yeah, feel like the patch of it you go through was pretty tame compared to my readings (Dark Elf trilogy), so I really hope they revisit it hard in expansions or sequels

not gonna lie, after two hours the cyberpunk dlc isn't a 10 for me

the free patch did way more to make me play the game again, even though it also has its quirks (enter abandoned building, find lockers full of legendary items, but they're all clothes)

Does the dlc add anything to the base game that the free patch doesn't? New guns or equipment or vehicles? Not sure how much I care about a new area, especially if it is a standalone theme park type of experience. I never finished the base game so there's still some to explore.

you can pet the cat in Cyberpunk 2077

there's a bunch of small cool little touches that I noticed even just in the first hour or so of a new game:

- the first locked door you encounter has to be hacked, which introduces the utility and use of hacking far better than in the pre-2.0 flow

- there's a balcony that you can use to outflank the gang leader in the first real combat encounter, which introduces hacking in-combat as something you can do

- when you're getting your first cyberware mods from Vik the Ripperdoc, you can actually buy an additional modification or two, beyond the eye and hand implant, if you have the cash for it (and picking up the weapons from that first gang encounter is enough to yield a couple thou)

I bring it up because you don't usually get a revamp that reaches so far back into the game to improve even the tutorial section, but this one did
