Went to go start the new event and just that alone filled up a bar and a half of the points thingy, and completing the actual event challenge filled up two whole bars. It overlaps a ton with the battlepass stuff, and it works out quite nicely. This seems far less helpful; even if you did stretch out the world/patch quests, and only did an event stage when it unlocks, that still leaves you with plenty of time where you're going to have to do all four commissions instead of picking and choosing.

Neuv C1 is a bitch! His best teammate by FAR will be furina and his C1 is a 28% charged attack dps increase in double hydro comps!!! My only consolation is that you can realistically swirl other enemy's elements even off of yourself letting kazuha sneak around the 3 reaction type requirement for Neuvillette. I just need to belueve in this cope until his banner ends.

Isn't the sacrificial jade catalyst going to be annoying to use on Neuvillette? All things being equal he should be taking up more field time than 10s if you are chaining his skill/burst in sequence. Unless you are using some weapon with a specific limitation. I have two r5 proto ambers and an r5 favonius codex I could use on Neuv. I think I'll go with the favonius codex because it fits Neuvillette's style, no one else needs it, and meeting his ER requirements seems a lot more useful than chasing bigger numbers. Admittedly an r5 proto amber eases ER requirements by a decent amount while also providing HP%.

His ideal rotation should look something like Team Setup > Burst > Charge Attack > Skill > Charge Attack > Team Setup > Charge Attack > Skill (> optional Charge Attack depending on how things line up) The R5 Proto will do more to ease his personal ER requirements than Fav, Fav is only best if other people on the team badly need the energy.

I don't like that you can't bank it for the next day. I don't know how much I'll be playing genshin any given day and doing dailies first just makes sense, letting you use today's chests tomorrow (and tomorrow only) would make it feel a lot better.

The advantage of every single one of those is that you can run them on auto at a lower difficulty if you just want to get them over with ASAP, they dont even take a minute unattended. Which is not something you can do in Genshin.

You cannot auto SU in a meaningful way, and HSR has the wrinkle that completing stamina-related activities always takes stamina. Genshin will record tasks that you complete without actually using stamina to redeem rewards on, which can be nice. I'd prefer closer to HSR's system but yeah they haven't perfected any version of this yet.

For the SU one, you only need to finish one "room", so that's doable in like a minute followed by quitting, and for Forgotten Halls you can simply pick the very first stage and beat everything instantly with a single opening attack, since the enemies are 50 levels below you. The weekly boss one is a bit more annoying, I suppose. As previously mentioned, I also find myself leaving Genshin chests unopened, so I don't "use up" all my future free dailies.

Boy this archon quest takes forever. Did a joke 10-pull on Neuvillette's banner, not that I'm that keen on getting him but I figured why not and got Dehya, the only standard 5-star I hadn't gotten yet. Sure is a shame she sucks because she's sort of fun to play. Then again it's a nice change from steamrolling every bit of content with my other characters so there's some value in using her in a melt team. I guess i don’t see a meaningful difference between autobattling something trivial and hunting down some hilichurls because it takes about the same time. but i think my experience is colored by my time with azur lane which i quit after realizing that despite playing that game for two years i didn’t actually play it for over a year.

Its not the hunt quests that bother me in genshin. Its having to talk to an idiot for for the same story quest I've done 50 times already. Oh my loving flower why wont it grow aboo aboohoohoo. That and the escort ones. Like I mentioned already, I dont like doing them in HSR either, despite the text and animations being way faster than genshin. I would love to see the metrics of HSR on the people doing the talking dailies vs the people skipping them

A lot of Genshin’s most annoying problems could be solved by adding a loving dialogue skip button and the ability to advance text when you want to (not when all animations finish or whatever other arbitrary nonsense keeps that from being possible). Wouldn’t really need all of these roundabout ways to make dailies better if you could just skip the dialogue.

For a period of time I switched my commissions back to Mondstadt only because it had the greatest concentration of commissions that could be done in co-op that didn't require the host player to start the quest or submit an item. Looking forward to rolling out with a Sayu, Furina, Raiden, and Nahida team when Furina comes out. Turn on all the skills and just roll around with Sayu to trigger healing, swirls, hyperbloom, and all other sorts of nonsense with the HP manipulation.

Can't believe the archon quest also sticks you in the loving prison... day 2, please let me out of jail... Oh and I am pretty much done with ToF, which I mentioned earlier, cause I just found out that not only are the PC and PSN servers separate, but you can't cross save from the PS4 version (which runs like complete poo poo, and makes Cyberpunk 2077's launch look decent) to the PS5, even running the PS4 version of the game on the PS5. Like god, imagine wanting to switch from the PS4 Genshin to the PS5 genshin, and having to start over, at this point. Just a loving absolute clown show of a game.
