SLFC 25: Koslov v. Sagat 2

: Before we get started, I should point out that your fighters will all grow old and retire. So, you will eventually need to make new fighters.

Lightweight Bout: Rei Himaru [SHIKI] (2-2) vs. Horace Pippin [NHC] (0-0)

Round 1

: Rei Himaru is ready to get back in the winning column.

: Pippin is going to need to do something before his legs give out.

: Oh. I didn't realize he could hear me.

Official Decision: Horace Pippin def. Rei Himaru by Submission (armbar) (4:22, Round 1)

Middleweight Bout: Herman McNally [RCH] (1-2) vs. Bryan Danielson [RBRCC] (3-2)

Round 1

: Danielson has two losses, and they are both to the current champ, so he's stuck at the moment. McNally, on the other hand, is trying to get back to .500. Let's see what he can do.

: He can walk into a punch!
: Danielson goes for the takedown-

: Gets it, and will try to just wear McNally down with some strikes.
: Generally speaking, you are very limited in what you're able to do while sitting in your opponent's guard. You can't really wind up on strikes, and there just aren't really any submissions you can get from that position.

: Danielson seems content to let the rest of the round burn off.
: That's not quite the strategy I would recommend. McNally isn't apt to do any damage from this position, but the next round will start on the feet.
: Time will expire, and we will see.

Round 2

: Danielson shoots for the takedown-

: Gets it. Moves to side control. This round he has some urgency. He looks for the armbar!

: A good win for Danielson, but where does he go from here?

Official Decision: Bryan Danielson def. Herman McNally by Submission (armbar) (3:47, Round 2)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Fry Baker [HK] (0-2) vs. Marshawn Money [MSNT] (1-4)

: Yoshida, I predict an incredible fight here!

Round 1

Round 2

: Okay, well, this is where the fight is going to-

Round 3

: Alright. Now that Money knows that his strategy is not going to get him a submission, I feel confident that-

: Is this a timeloop situation?
: No, it only feels like we've been watching the same round 50,000 times in a row.

Official Decision: Marshawn Money def. Fry Baker by Uni. Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Heavyweight Bout: Badland Chugs Jr. [HK] (0-0) vs. Sodom Sinze [UNDEF] (0-0)

Round 1

: Chugs. Please. I need something here.

: Is all hope lost? Time expires.

Round 2

: Chugs! I believe in you!

: Yes! And he'll follow that up by...not rushing in because he's so afraid of getting taken down that he'd rather win on points.
: It's a good strategy.
: That is not the point!

Round 3

: Sinze needs something here. He shoot for the takedown!

: Gets it! And he's methodically working through some submissions, carefully waiting for Chugs to make a mistake that he will capitalize on and-

: Instead the ref will stand them up and Chugs will simple circle away and take the decision on points. I am dying here.

Official Decision: Badland Chugs Jr. def. Sodom Sinze by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Welterweight Bout: George Steiner [RCH] (4-1) vs. Homer Stille Cummings [NHC] (3-1)

Round 1

: The winner of this match is likely getting a title shot. Steiner starts by stalking forward. He shoots for the takedown!

: If Cummings is going to win this fight, he needs to stay away from Steiner. He needs to fight at range. Up close, Steiner is just to physical for him.
: Steiner moves to side control. He gets mount! He goes for the armbar!

: REVERSAL! Cummings is on top, and he will immediately stand up and gesture for Steiner to do the same. He knows that nothing good is going to come out of a grapple. Steiner is furious. He shoots for another takedown!

: He gets it, but time expires!

Round 2

: Cummings sees Steiner coming in, he knows what's happening. Steiner sets up the takedown-

: He cannot get it!
: Cummings needs to fight at range, wear Steiner down, and hope for the best.
: Steiner, for his part, seems content to reserve his energy, and he'll let Cummings circle for the remainder of the round.

Round 3

: We go to Round 3. It's clear that Steiner won Round 1, it's not clear to anyone who won Round 2. How does Cummings play this?
: He can't get overly aggressive. He needs to keep striking from the outside and wait for his chance. It's risky, since he's dropped at least one round already, but it's the smart move.
: And Cummings will-

: But why would Cummings grapple with Steiner?

: Steiner survives, and a title shot is in his future. At some point.

Official Decision: George Steiner def. Homer Stille Cummings by Submission (RNC) (3:19, Round 3)

Lightweight Championship Bout: Okie Dokie [D-KEN] (4-0) vs. JR Leap [UNDEF] (3-1)

: The following contest is-

: Ah, nevermind, then. Okie Dokie has simply used his astounding magic once again!

Official Decision: Okie Dokie def. JR Leap by Submission (heel hook) (2:10, Round 1)
Your winner and STILL Lightweight Champion: Okie Dokie!

Heavyweight Championship Bout: Vladimir Koslov [RBRCC] (5-0) vs. Sagat [FGC] (4-1)

: The following contest is the main event of the evening, scheduled for five round to determine the heavyweight champion of the world. Introducing first, the challenger, from Pattaya, Thailand, he is the former heavyweight champion, Sagat! And his opponent, he is the reigning, defending, undefeated heavyweight champion of the world, Vladimir Koslov!

Round 1

: And Sagat will take the initiative to start off.

: Sagat is the better striker. While he would prefer, if he could, to work out of the clinch, as a Muay Thai expert, given Koslov's strengths, it makes more sense for him to work in open space.
: Koslov goes for a clinch, but can't get much done with it before Sagat breaks it up. It looks like both men are pacing themselves for a long fight, and time expires.

Round 2

: Round 2, and it is more of the same.

: Sagat has to be aware of what happened in the last fight, where he played it safe and then got knocked out in the fifth round, but his feeling has to be that he was winning that fight, and mixing things up is probably not going to get him the results he wants.
: Koslov, for his part, seems less eager to grapple than he was in the first fight. Time expires, and Sagat is up two rounds to none on just about anyone's score card.

Round 3

: Sagat seems to be feeling a bit more confident.

: Koslov seems to have a lot of faith that Sagat will get tired, and that is when Koslov can finish him, but he's putting himself in a tough position.
: Koslov with a jab-

: Koslov has that great chin, but that's not winning him point on the judges' cards as time expires on the third round.

Round 4

: Koslov was told by his corner between rounds that he's likely down three rounds to none, which means that Koslov must finish this fight if he wants to keep his belt. He plods forward, but Sagat is content to hold back, and we'll go to the final round.

Round 5

: Round Five. All Sagat has to do is keep standing, and he'll win back his title. He'll use strikes to keep Koslov on the outside, and with one minute left, it looks like he's ready to-

: That's the second time in a row that Koslov managed knock Sagat out in the last round. That's so sad.

Official Decision: Vladimir Koslov def. Sagat by TKO (Strikes) (4:20, Round 5)
Your winner and STILL Heavyweight Champion: Vladimir Koslov!

Oct 16, 2008

Eternal Commissioner of the Super League. A new avatar. A new age, of the same old embittered Smasher that failed to escape the bonds of the SL, FM3, Johnny Hopp and Eri Yoshida "The Knuckle Princess". "The flames of Smasher's ire scorch the skies... Igniting St. Bellhorn's funeral pyre."
SLFC 26: Neil vs. Bon Jovi

: I had planned to keep doing these until FairGame was ready to start the next season, but it appears that has been delayed.
: The northern lights are calling him! What choice does he have but to go answer them by traveling to Iceland?
: I am resentment made manifest in decaying flesh. Let's get on with the fights.

Lightweight Bout: Joji Yuki [TAC] (0-2, 1 NC) vs. Magnus Barefoot [NHC] (0-3)

Round 1

: And, of course, the Rider here needs to avoid getting taken down since-

: Not exactly how Yuki wanted this fight to start.
: But Smasher, Yuki took down his opponent.
: WHAT?! But that's not...that's not how that works! I'm calling an emergency end to this round so that I can make some sense of this madness!

Round 2

: Okay, we've all taken a moment to try and process what we just saw, which appeared to be, but could not have possibly actually been, a Rider taking down his opponent. Now, let's continue.

: What?
: Looks like the Riders are picking up some new tricks.
: I don't understand!

Official Decision: Joji Yuki def. Magnus Barefoot by Submission (kimura) (4:16, Round 2)

Heavyweight Bout: Eric Young [CAN] (0-2) vs. STORG [D-KEN] (2-4)

Round 1

: It's time for a Storg fight. Now, if you're a heavyweight, you don't have to really worry about Storg's power, since he's not much of a-

: Okay. See! Young got knocked down, but he's fine!

: You know what, Eric Young? If your opponent, who has just knocked you down, invites you to stand back up so that your face can get back in line with his fists, maybe don't accept that invitation? Huh? Maybe?
: It does look like Young will survive the round, though!

Round 2

: Okay, Young, you need to focus here-

: Storg is having a great night.
: God help me. Time expires.

Round 3

: Young needs a finish here. Even the most crooked judge could not possibly have scored either of the first two rounds for him, and so he can't win on points.
: Maybe Young has some fresh ideas!

: Okay, it's over. Let's just end it. Over. END!

Official Decision: Storg def. Eric Young by Uni. Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Middleweight Bout: Basher Nanaimo [FITCH] (3-2) vs. Petey Williams [CAN] (2-2)

Round 1

: Let's hope Team Canada can get back on track here.

: I hope Eric Young is taking note about what a successful takedown looks like.
: With over three-and-a-half minutes, I can't imagine that Williams can't get something done!

: In fact, he won't, as time expires. Williams does win the round, though.

Round 2

: Williams going for another takedown-

: Nanaimo blocks the takedown, but the two are trapped in a clinch. For four minutes. Great. Nanaimo breaks free as time starts to run out.

: And Nanaimo does some good work before time expires.

Round 3

: Williams looks exhausted.
: Nanaimo looks ready to capitalize.

: And Nanaimo is pressing.

: And Nanaimo has mount and a long time to work with! And Williams can do nothing but turtle up and try to absorb three and a half minutes of strikes from Nanaimo, who is happy to simply rain down blow after blow! Williams looking exhausted, broken, but he will be saved by the bell! We'll go to the judges!

Official Decision: Basher Nanaimo def. Petey Williams by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

: Williams had a great first round, but it took too much out of him, and Nanaimo was able to cruise after that point.

Welterweight Bout: Hongo Takeshi [TAC] (0-4) vs. Terry O'Rae [FITCH] (2-2)

Round 1

: If this Rider fight goes weird, I'm going to be very concerned.

: Good. Normality has returned.

Official Decision: Terry O'Rae def. Hongo Takeshi by TKO (2:47, Round 1)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Clevin Dark [SODAK] (4-2) vs. Tyson Dux [CAN] (1-1)

Round 1

: It's been a tough night for Team Canada.
: Smasher, I've got a good feeling about this one!

: Good for Sodak, at least.

Official Decision: Clevin Dark def. Tyson Dux by KO (Punch) (1:03, Round 1)

Heavyweight Bout: Ezekiel Jackson [RBRCC] (3-1) vs. Michael Bolton [ROCK] (1-1)

Round 1

: The two men here are jockeying for a title shot. Can either impress?

: Okay, I don't want to see the arm break! Bolton is too strong! He scares me, Smasher.

Official Decision: Michael Bolton def. Ezekiel Jackson by Submission (armbar) (2:43, Round 1)

Light Heavyweight Championship Bout: Vince Neil [ROCK] (3-0) vs. Jon Bon Jovi [ROCK] (3-0)

: It is now time for the main event of the evening. Five rounds to determine the Light Heavyweight Champion of the world! Introducing first, the challenger, from New Jersey, he weighed in at the weight limit of 205 pounds, Jon Bon Jovi! And his opponent, he is reigning, defending light heavyweight champion of the world, Vince Neil!

Round 1

: Neil comes forward with some strikes to lead things off.

: This is a striker vs. grappler fight, effectively. Neil is the better striker, Bon Jovi is a superior wrestler. It's hard to say which will win out.

: It's definitely looking good for Neil at the moment. Bon Jovi will shoot for a takedown, but Neil will dodge. He'll keep at it, Bon Jovi clearly thinks his best chance of victory is on the ground. He manages to grab onto Neil and-

: SUUUUUUUUUUPERSLAM! Time expires before Bon Jovi can advance past guard, though.

Round 2

: Bon Jovi will keep up the pressure, but won't get the first takedown attempt of the round to go.
: Neil needs to impose his will here. Even if he is stuffing these takedown attempts, he's on the defensive, and he's not doing any damage to Bon Jovi.
: Bon Jovi tries another takedown-

: Gets it! But he can't advance past Neil's guard.
: Neil is doing a good job keeping Bon Jovi from advancing, but he is still losing this fight. If you're a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist, then holding guard is great, because there are many submissions that can open. Vince Neil is not a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist, though. In that position, it's all he can do to keep Bon Jovi from getting free to do some real damage.
: Neil will manage to stall things out for the rest of the round, though.

Round 3

: Bon Jovi shoots for another takedown-

: Gets it. And he is in half-guard this time. Neil seems both tired and lost, and Bon Jovi moves into side control.
: If Neil wants to save his title, he needs to do something, and soon.
: Bon Jovi sets up for the submission-

: He gets it! We have a new champion!

Official Decision: Jon Bon Jovi def. Vince Neil by Submission (armbar) (2:31, Round 2)

SLFC 27: Weedman vs. Serra

: I demand fast fights today! I DEMAND IT! THIS HAS BEEN DEMANDED BY ME, SMASHER DYNAMO! Or, as I am known in Australia, apparently, "Slasher Dynamics".
: Hey! You know that English isn't Cthulhu's first language! For all you know, that's how you're name is translated in his native tongue of, what do Australians speak?
: Boganese. Let's get on with it.

Middleweight Bout: Blue Mary [FGC] (1-1) vs. Axl Rose [ROCK] (1-2)

Round 1

: And the fight will begin with-

: That.
: Oh no.
: Rose is unsure how to proceed. Mary is down, but not out, and he doesn't want to grapple with her if he can avoid it. He'll let her stand up. Mary, none-too-pleased, will grab Rose and smash him against the fence, and she'll go for a trip-

: Down goes Rose.
: Rose probably needs to just pray that time begins moving more quickly so that the round ends before Mary can submit him.

: The flow of time, it appears, remains unchanged.

Official Decision: Blue Mary def. Axl Rose by Submission (americana) (4:30, Round 1)

Welterweight Bout: Shiro Kazami [TAC] (1-3) vs. Marty McSorley [FITCH] (1-4)

Round 1

: We all know the story here. McSorley needs to take Kazami down, or else he will die.

: I think he's going to die.

: McSorley is fighting off his back foot. He needs a takedown, but won't get it in Round One.

Round 2

: Round Two, and it looks like McSorley wants to work the jab!

: I think he might need a new plan.
: McSorley uses what energy he has left to shoot one more takedown-

: Gets it, but time runs out before he can do anything with it.

Round 3

: McSorley tries another takedown-

: I don't think McSorley has a lot left. He needs to really think about how he's approaching this fight.
: He won't! He keeps pushing for the takedown, even as he's reaching the point of total exhaustion. He goes for one more chance-

: No one survives the RIDER PUNCH!

Official Decision: Shiro Kazami def. Marty McSorley by KO (Rider Punch) (3:19, Round 1)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Jon Moxley [RBRCC] (3-2) vs. Dankwart Rustow [NHC] (1-1)

Round 1

: Mox is looking to turn this fight into a brawl and Rustow seems willing to indulge him!

: Do not, under any circumstances, brawl with Jon Moxley.

Official Decision: Jon Moxley def. Dankwart Rustow by KO (Punch) (2:51, Round 1)

Heavyweight Bout: Chef Sal [HK] (1-2) vs. Brouck Lessner [SODAK] (1-4)

Round 1

: HulkaMatt still has total faith in Chef Sal, who-

: And down goes Sal! And Lessner dives on him! Lessner is raining down shot after shot as Sal is struggling just to survive! Lessner keeps firing, but what's this? Sal is going for a sweep from the bottom!

: And now Sal is on top! He mounts Lessner! He puts on the armbar!

: Chef Sal wins! Chef Sal wins!

Official Decision: Chef Sal def. Brouck Lessner by Submission (armbar) (3:07, Round 1)

Heavyweight Bout: FS Drago [MSNT] (2-1) vs. Gat [D-KEN] (3-2)

Round 1

: We've had some great fights so far.
: Yeah!
: This fight will not be one of them. Let's just get it over with. Both fighters strike from the outside, accomplishing nothing. Drago clinches onto Gat, and they will-

: Hang out near the cage for the rest of the round. Great.

Round 2

: The two fighters clinch again, which does neither of them any real damage, and Drago will shoot for the takedown-

: Gets it.
: Maybe Drago can do something with this position.

: Apparently not!

Round 3

: I beg you. Please. Someone, anyone, do something!

: OKAY, FINE! GREAT! FIGHT OVER!

Official Decision: FS Drago def. Gat by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Lightweight Bout: Ricky Ricks [HK] (1-2) vs. Sakura Kasugano [FGC] (1-1)

Round 1

: I DEMAND BLOOD!

: Thank you, Ricky.

Official Decision: Ricky Ricks def. Sakura Kasugano by KO (1:52, Round 1)

Middleweight Championship Bout: Avery Weedman [MSNT] (6-0) vs. Leonardo Serra [MSNT] (5-2)

: It is now time for the main event of the evening! Five rounds to determine the middleweight champion of the world! Introducing first, the challenger, he is the former welterweight champion of the world, Leonardo Serra! And his opponent, he is the reigning, defending, undefeated middleweight champion, Avery Weedman!

Round 1

: And we'll start by-

: I totally forgot that both of these nerds are slow starters and mostly counter-fighters. That might not be great.

: Weedman is the larger fighter, which gives him an advantage, but I can't see either getting anything done while on their feet.
: Weedman shoots for the takedown-

: Gets it, but Serra pulls guard, and goes for a guillotine! I'm not sure how he's doing that AFTER getting taken down-

: I guess he's really not.
: Time expires, and we'll see where we go from here.

Round 2

: Round Two starts with more mild striking, and neither seems all that willing to hurt the other.
: They are teammates.
: Weedman eventually commits to a takedown-

: Weedman moves to side control, he moves to mount, he goes for...a triangle of all things from mount, which is a strange choice-

: But it works! And Weedman remains an undefeated champion!

Official Decision: Avery Weedman def. Leonardo Serra by Submission (triangle) (4:19, Round 2)
Your winner and STILL Middleweight Champion of the World: Avery Weedman!

: And some late-breaking news! Weedman has declared that...he has decided to go on vacation to Iceland for four months...so I guess we will have an interim title fight! Great!

: Folks, it's time to shine the light on some of our lesser stars, in hoping that some of these losers can show that they're worth anything.
: Hey! That's not fair! Out of the 14 fighters on this card, half of them have winning records!

Heavyweight Bout: Bobby Roode [CAN] (0-5) vs. William Regal [RBRCC] (1-3)

Round 1

: And we'll start-

: What the hell was that?
: You know, fighting is hard. It's hard, Smasher. It's very hard. They're doing there best.
: I guess. Hey, it looks like Roode will survive the first round for once so-

: Nevermind.

Official Decision: William Regal def. Bobby Roode by TKO (Strikes) (4:59, Round 1)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Marshawn Money [MSNT] (2-4) vs. Shigeru Jo [TAC] (0-3)

Round 1

: Last time, as you might recall, Money tried an unorthodox strategy and it sort of paid off. Let's see what he does this time.

: Great stuff.
: Money might be better off taking Jo to the ground if he can manage it.
: Well, Yoshida-

: I guess it's a moot point.

Official Decision: Marshawn Money def. Shigeru Jo by TKO (Strikes) (4:03, Round 1)

Middleweight Bout: Daisuke Yamamoto [TAC] (0-3) vs. Stan [D-KEN] (0-4)

Round 1

: Going into this fight, Stan begged me to, in his words, "Please, please, please stop making me fight. I'm an accountant! I don't know how to fight! How can you do this? Don't you have any sense of humanity left?"
: It looks like he's trying to play mind games with his opponent.
: And the fight begins! Stan stays on the outside, trying to defend himself with strikes, and intermittently turning to me and praying for some sort of end to this madness. No aid from myself shall be forthcoming. Stan shall live or die by his own deeds.

: He chose death.

Official Decision: Daisuke Yamamoto def. Stan by TKO (Strikes) (3:39, Round 1)

Heavyweight Bout: Drakkhen Kennedy [D-KEN] (4-2) vs. Slab [FITCH] (3-2)

Round 1

: Now I know that both of these guys are spectacularly exciting, but-

: See, a takedown! That could be exciting! And he'll pass to half-guard! And he'll...try an arm triangle from half-guard?
: You can't really get that submission from half-guard. Unless you're opponent is Sage Northcutt, and Drakkhen wishes he had that physique. But he doesn't. He really doesn't, Smasher.
: And time will expire before Slab can accomplish anything.

Round 2

: Slab shoots for the takedown-

: Gets it. He moves to side control! He...

: Hits some low-impact knees to Drakkhen's hip, one of the best protected areas of the human body.
: It's possible that Drakkhen has some sort of congenital condition with his hip that makes him super-vulnerable to strikes there.
: It does not appear that is the case as time expires.

Round 3

: Slab grabs onto Drakkhen and takes him to the cage.

: What will Slab do?

: Drakkhen has knocked people out in the third round before. It's not an exciting way to fight, but Slab wants to win more than he wants to dazzle. That is the way of the Fitch-men.
: I guess. Either way, time will expire, and the decision is a formality at this point.

Official Decision: Slab def. Drakkhen Kennedy by Uni. Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Welterweight Bout: Pander Panderer [UNDEF] (4-3) vs. Hungry Joe [HK] (1-2)

Round 1

: Wait, hold on. Pander is the betting underdog? I need to get to a sportsbook immediately! I don't have much time! There's big bucks to be made!

: drat it! Pander was too fast! I didn't have time to cash out! drat you, Pander!

Official Decision: Pander Panderer def. Hungry Joe by KO (ONE PUNCH!) (0:24, Round 1)

Lightweight Title Eliminator: Keisuke Jin [TAC] (2-1) vs. Gomorrah Sinze [UNDEF] (1-0)

Round 1

: All Keisuke Jin must do to get a title shot is avoid getting taken down!

: I think it's unfair that you make the Riders go against fighters who know how to wrestle.
: I'm not running a kickboxing promotion here! What do you want from me?

Official Decision: Gomorrah Sinze def. Keisuke Jin by TKO (Strikes) (2:44, Round 1)

Welterweight Title Bout: Logan Stourleigh [SODAK] (5-1) vs. George Steiner [RCH] (5-1)

: It is now time for the main event of the evening. Five rounds to determine the welterweight champion of the world. Introducing first, the challenger, from Gary, Indiana, George Steiner! And his opponent, he is the reigning, defending, Welterweight Champion of the World, Logan Stourleigh!

Round 1

: I'm looking forward to-

: Well, that's not quite what I had in mind.
: If you're a fan of high-level wrestling, this might be the fight for you! Of course, there aren't a lot of fans of high-level wrestling.
: Time expires as neither man seems able to gaining a clear advantage in wrestling.

Round 2

: Round two, and we'd better settle in because-

: Nevermind.

Official Decision: Logan Stourleigh def. George Steiner by TKO (Strikes) (0:40, Round 2)
Your Winner and STILL the THIRD Welterweight Champion: Logan Stourleigh!

I'd like to make some improvements to Jo, as he seems to be struggling, but with 10 points in the bank and 7 fighters, my hand is forced to go wide. Forced, I tell you!

Anyway, Spend 10 points to improve Kickboxing Training for the Tachibana Racing Club.

SLFC 29: Koslov vs. Villa

: It's Yom Kippur, a day where we must wrestle with our regrets over the past year. Then again, that's everyday for me.
: It should be great!

Light Heavyweight Bout: e.e. Cummings [NHC] (3-3) vs. Sergei Dragunov [FGC] (0-3)

Round 1

: Can Sergei live?

: He avoided getting killed with the first strike!
: Sergei can do it! He can survive!

: Survive. Not win. It's baby steps.
: Even still, Sergei will manage to live past the first round!

Round 2

: And Sergei-

: Lands a meaningful strike! It's all coming up Sergei! And Sergei will take Cummings to the fence, and he will go for the takedown!

: Sergei does it! Sergei gets the takedown! And he'll grind out the clock and move to the third round!
: Smasher, I don't think Cummings did anything in the second round, and Sergei got the takedown, I think that means that he won the round! That means that Sergei could still theoretically win this fight!

Round 3

: Sergei, I believe in-

: Sergei tried.

Official Decision: e.e. Cummings def. Sergei Dragunov by TKO (Strikes) (2:05, Round 3)

Heavyweight Bout: Jarred Kelenic (1-3) vs. Sodom Sinze [UNDEF] (0-1)

Round 1

: Well, let's see what-

: Please tell me that it's not going to be one of those fights.

: Oh, great. Time expires on round one.

Round 2

: Round two starts, and Sinze takes Kelenic to the cage, and looks for the trip-

: Gets it, and-

: For gently caress's sake!
: You can't really get an arm triangle from half-guard. The leverage isn't there to clamp down hard enough to actually cut off the blood, and without that, it's really just a complicated-looking hug.
: The complicated-looking hug continues, and continues, and time expires.

Round 3

: And Sinze-

: Gets outstruck by Kelenic. Inspiring. Sinze grapples, takes Kelenic to the fence, goes for the trip-

: Gets it. And-

: He'll just kill the clock to seal the win. Great. We're done here.

Official Decision: Sodom Sinze def. Jarred Kelenic by Uni. Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Welterweight Bout: Jean-Claude Boeuf [FITCH] (2-3) vs. Homer Stille Cummings [NHC] (3-2)

Round 1

: This could be a good fight!

: It could have been a good fight.

: Oh no! A virus that makes you super-susceptible to takedowns and causes you to lose? That's exactly the same virus that ravaged Chute Box all those years ago!

Official Decision: Jean-Claude Boeuf def. Homer Stille Cummings by TKO (Strikes) (3:45, Round 1)

Heavyweight Bout: Sagat [FGC] (5-2) vs. Johnny Devine [CAN] (2-2)

Round 1

: Sagat has one eye on tonight's title fight. If Villa wins, Sagat is practically guaranteed a title shot. As a result, he's using Johnny Devine as little more than a punching bag.
: I don't think Devine appreciates that.
: Sagat will try a takedown-

: Gets it. And he'll just hold the position for the remainder of the round. Sagat apparently has little interest in taking risks here.

Round 2

: Sagat will try some flashy strikes-

: But can't quite get it to land. Devine looking furious that Sagat isn't taking him seriously. He'll shoot for a takedown-

: Not a good position!

: Devine can't take much more of this!

: Devine is back to his feet, and Sagat will simply taunt him to end the round.

Round 3

: Devine looks like he's done taking Sagat's disrespect, he'll shoot for another takedown.

: Uh-oh.

: The ref needs to stop this!

: I don't think Devine had to take quite that much punishment. Even still, a brutal finish from Sagat, who now will watch the title fight tonight with great interest.

Official Decision: Sagat def. Johnny Devine by TKO (Murder) (3:25, Round 3)

Interim Middleweight Championship Bout: Bryan Danielson [RBRCC] (4-2) vs. Kaphwan Kim [FGC] (2-2)

: The following contest, scheduled for five rounds, is for the interim Middleweight Championship! Introducing first, from Seoul, South Korea, Kaphwan Kim[url]! And his opponent, from Aberdeen, Washington, [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNiTxUEnmKI&ab_channel=Europe-Topic]Bryan Danielson!

Round 1

: And we are off to-

: Ah, nevermind.

Official Decision: Bryan Danielson def. Kaphwan Kim by TKO (Strikes) (1:36, Round 1)
Your winner and INTERIM Middleweight Champion: Bryan Danielson!

Lightweight Championship Bout: Okie Dokie [D-KEN] (5-0) vs. Horace Pippin [NHC] (1-0)

: It is now time for the co-main event of the evening! Five rounds to determine the undisputed lightweight champion of the world! Introducing first, the challenger, from West Chester, Pennsylvania, Horace Pippin! And his opponent, he is the reigning, defending, undefeated lightweight champion of the world, Okie Dokie!

Round 1

: And Okie will-

: Immediately pull guard. Pippin, perplexed by this unexpected turn of events, immediately shakes Okie off and gets back to his feet.
: That's smart. Okie is too talented a grappler. If you're going to beat him, you're going to beat him standing.
: Okie seems to agree and decides to force the issue-

: Okie with some ground and pound, Pippin tries to shake him off again-

: That's probably not how Pippin intended for that go.

: A very Okie victory.

Official Decision: Okie Dokie def. Horace Pippin by Submission (arm triangle) (4:27, Round 1)
Your winner and STILL the FIRST Lightweight Champion: Okie Dokie!

Heavyweight Championship Bout: Vladimir Koslov [RBRCC] (6-0) vs. Juan Villa [RCH] (4-1)

: It is now time for the main event of the evening. Introducing first, from Stockton, California, Juan "The Villain" Villa! And his opponent, from Moscow, Russia, he is the reigning, defending, undefeated heavyweight champion of the world, Vladimir Koslov!

Round 1

: And the fight begins and Villa immediately starts plowing forward. Shoots for a takedown, but can't get it. Koslov pulls Villa into a grapple, and gets him against the cage, and is looking to grind him down but-

: Villa pushes, looking for an opening and shoots for another takedown-

: Gets it, but time immediately expires.
: Clear round to Villa. Koslov won his last two fights with Sagat by controlling the grappling game and living off counter-striking. Villa isn't going to be striking as much, and it seems clear that Koslov is not going to be dominant in the grapple.

Round 2

: They end up grappling again. Villa is looking for something big!

: That Koslov is looking to escape a grapple has to be alarming for his corner.
: Koslov grabs Villa again but-

: Villa goes for the takedown!

: Again, Koslov seems to be able to stall out Villa, but he's not doing any damage.
: Time expires, and it's a close round.

Round 3

: Round three, and Koslov is feeling a bit more urgency. He'll try to work the jab-

: Villa tries to follow that up with a takedown, but can't get it. Time expires, and you would have to think that Villa is up two rounds to one at worst here.

Round 4

: Koslov tries for another grapple, and gets Villa against the fence-

: Koslov needs a new strategy. This just isn't working.
: After a few more Villa strikes, the ref breaks them up, and sends them to the center. Koslov grapples again, takes Villa to the fence and goes for his first takedown attempt of the fight!

: He cannot get it, and time expires.

Round 5

: As we head into the last round, how are you scoring the fight?
: I have Villa up three rounds to one, but that requires giving round two to Koslov, which is a bit optimistic for him. I can't see Koslov winning a decision here.
: Villa is going to try and keep Koslov away with the jab, but Koslov grabs him-

: Koslov needs a lot more of that.

: He will not get it!

: Another good strike from Villa, and Koslov is running out of time. And the ref breaks them up and sends them to the center. A dubious call there. Koslov-

: That's Sagat's move!

: And he's looking to end this fight with one crushing knee! Juan Villa lost his first title shot due to a knockout knee from the Muay Thai clinch! History is repeating itself! Koslov sets up for the knee!

: Villa blocked it!
: Villa clinches on! Time runs out! Villa made it! And we'll go to the judges, but I think we have a new champion!
: A tremendous effort from Villa.
: After five rounds, we will go to the judges' scorecards. Judge James McReynolds scores the fight 48-47 for Koslov. Judge Learned Hand scores the fight 48-47 for Villa, and Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk scores the fight 49-46 for your winner...and, for gently caress's sake, STILL Heavyweight Champion of the World, Vladimir Koslov.

Official Decision: Vladimir Koslov def. Juan Villa by Split Decision (48-47, 47-48, 49-46)
Your winner and STILL the SECOND Heavyweight Champion: Vladimir Koslov!

: But Villa landed more strikes at a higher accuracy, and scored the only takedown of the fight! How did Koslov win four rounds? I don't understand!
: Only one man can save us now....SEND FOR FS DRAGO!

SLFC 30: Bon Jovi vs. Dark

: A quick note on Super-Heavyweights! We barely have enough fighters for the five divisions we do have, so I don't know that I want to open up another division until the fight teams we have are maxed out on the other divisions.

Heavyweight Bout: Ezekiel Jackson [RBRCC] (3-2) vs. Eric Young [CAN] (0-3)

Round 1

: This may or may not be a gimme to Jackson.
: It's not impossible for Eric Young to win!
: Young will almost immediately shoot for the takedown and-

: Run right into Jackson's fist. Young back to his feet and-

: Not exactly a promising start for Team Canada.
: It's not over yet!
: Young isn't quite out. Jackson moves in for the kill, but-

: Young grabs on, and holds on for dear life, as Jackson is unsure how to wrestle. In general.
: Smasher, Ezekiel Jackson obviously knows how to wrestle. He's still the current ECW champ, after all.
: Yeah, great. Time expires.

Round 2

: Young shoots for the takedown!

: Fails miserably! Jackson stalks Young across the cage, trying to finish him with some punches, and Young-

: Kicks him in the shin. Somehow, that is the most notable strike of the round as time expires.

Round 3

: Round three now.
: Jackson clearly won round one. And no one can say who won round two. Both guys should be looking for a finish.
: They'll clinch. Young looking for the trip-

: Young gets him down, and he apparently feels more confident in how the judges scored round two than anyone else, as he will just lay in Jackson's guard, and kill the clock. The ref will eventually stand them up, and Jackson is looking for a finish, and Young-

: Drags him down, and kills what's left of the clock, and that's the end of the fight. We'll go to the judges.

Official Decision: Eric Young def. Ezekiel Jackson by Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

: That's certainly a decision.

Light Heavyweight Bout: Tyson Dux [CAN] (1-2) vs. Fry Baker [HK] (0-3)

Round 1

: And Dux will-

: Just kind of kick the poo poo out of Baker for five straight minutes.

Round 2

: But this round, Dux will-

: Jab the poo poo out of Baker for five minutes.
: Fry Baker's strategy of getting repeatedly beaten up seems to have some flaws.

Round 3

: Baker needs a finish now. And he will-

: Give Tyson Dux a friendly hug. He does get Dux against the cage, but doesn't seem able to do much more than some light dirty boxing.
: That might win him the round, but he's already lost two rounds, and usually two is more than one.
: It generally is. Dux breaks free of the clinch and hits a few more punches before time expires. We'll go to the judges.

Official Decision: Tyson Dux def. Fry Baker by Uni. Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Welterweight Bout: Terry O'Rae [FITCH] (3-2) vs. Hayato Ichimonji [TAC] (2-2)

Round 1

: Ichimonji must avoid being taken down! And O'Rae shoots for a takedown to start the fight, but Ichimonji avoids it. Ichimonji tries for a takedown because he has apparently taken leave of his senses, but that gets blocked. O'Rae tries for another takedown and-

: But the ground is where Riders go to die!
: Did Ichimonji bet against himself to lose the fight or something? Why wouldn't he fight that takedown? O'Rae doesn't care, he'll move to side control, and then get Ichimonji to give up his back! O'Rae puts the hooks in, but time expires.

Round 2

: And round two starts-

: Yeah, I think this one is about over.

Official Decision: Terry O'Rae def. Hayato Ichimonji by TKO (Strikes) (3:28, Round 2)

Heavyweight Bout: Badland Chugs Jr. [HK] (1-0) vs. Michael Bolton [ROCK] (3-1)

Round 1

: BEHOLD THE POWER OF SOFT ROCK!

Official Decision: Michael Bolton def. Badland Chugs Jr. by Submission (armbar) (2:07, Round 1)

Middleweight Bout: Blue Mary [FGC] (2-1) vs. Basher Nanaimo [FITCH] (4-2)

Round 1

: Folks, someone needs to step up and be a contender in the middleweight division.
: Or people could create new fighters.
: People doing things that takes effort? Impossible! Mary starts the round off by shooting for the takedown-

: Gets it. And she will spend the next four-and-a-half minutes trying to get past Nanaimo's guard, and will not succeed. Good defense from Nanaimo to keep that takedown from ending the fight early, albeit probably not thrilling to watch.

Round 2

: Round two, and Mary decides to shoot for a takedown once more.

: Gets it again.
: If she's going to beat Avery Weedman, she's probably going to need to take him down.
: Mary will pass to side control this time, and she will just start firing away.

: A great win by Blue Mary, and she becomes the contender presumptive once Weedman and Danielson unify the titles.

Official Decision: Blue Mary def. Basher Nanaimo by TKO (Strikes) (3:48, Round 1)

Lightweight Bout: JR Leap [UNDEF] (3-2) vs. Mazus [D-KEN] (1-2, 1 NC)

Round 1

: Both fighters start off with some loose striking from the outside. JR Leap grabs a clinch, but lets it go, and both sides will-

: No fear from either fighter!

: Down goes Mazus! And JR Leap dives down looking to finish him off, but Mazus will not die! He scrambles, and now Mazus is on top in JR Leap's half-guard! Mazus furiously looking for any sort of submission, but time will expire.

Round 2

: Smasher, Mazus doesn't look right.
: You see Yoshida, while a normal person has a 'fight-or-flight' instinct, when Mazus finds himself under any sort of stress, he immediately tries to murder any living creature within his reach. It's not something he's proud, but it's part of him that he can neither excise nor control.
: Murder?

: Murder.

Official Decision: Mazus def. JR Leap by KO (Kick) (0:21, Round 2)

Light Heavyweight Championship Bout: Jon Bon Jovi [ROCK] (4-0) vs. Clevin Dark [SODAK] (5-2)

: It is now time for the main event of the evening! Five rounds to determine the undisputed light heavyweight champion of the world! Introducing first, the challenger, from Seaux Fawls, Cheshire, he is the former light heavyweight champion of the world, Clevin Dark! And his opponent, the reigning, defending, undefeated light heavyweight champion of the world, Jon Bon Jovi!

Round 1

: Bon Jovi immediately shoots for the takedown!

: Gets it. He moves to side control. He is trying to get Dark's back.
: Dark needs to figure out something here. He needs space to operate, and if he can't defend a takedown, he's not going to get that space.
: Bon Jovi gets the back. He's looking for arm, but Dark keeps his cool. Bon Jovi going for a choke, but Dark is able to keep Bon Jovi from getting the arm under Dark's chin. Bon Jovi gets the hooks in, and goes for the choke again. Time is running out, if Dark can defend this position for just a few more seconds, he'll get another chance to fight on his feet in the next round. Can he do it?

: He can't! Bon Jovi retains!

Official Decision: Jon Bon Jovi def. Clevin Dark by Submission (RNC) (4:39, Round 1)

JUST PICK ONE. ANY ONE.
I'm happy that Armitage has finally figured out how to build an SL team that is a winner. Though I do not like Jon Bon Jovi being the figurehead for it.

Let's put 2 points into Mary's strategy so that, when she does fight Weedman, she'll stop trying to throw weak rear end punches against the best counter-striker in the SLFC.

SLFC 31: Stourleigh vs. Pander 3

: Oh boy. Fun.

Lightweight Bout: Keisuke Jin [TAC] (2-2) vs. Horace Pippin [NHC] (1-1)

Round 1

: The fight starts and-

: A flash knockdown by Jin!
: Whatever Jin does, he can't afford to go to the ground, not even in these circumstances!
: Jin will dive down after Pippin and-

: The most one-sided rivalry in history is the Riders vs. gravity.
: Pippin takes the back! Goes for the choke! Jin frantically trying to keep Pippin from getting his arm under the chin. Pippin is calmly, methodically breaking through Jin's defenses! He gets the hooks in! He gets under the chin! But time expires, and Jin is saved by the bell.

Round 2

: Pippin shoots for a takedown! It's blocked. He shoots for another takedown! It's blocked as well! Pippin grabs Jin and-

: Takes him to the cage. He tries for the trip, but can't get. Jin tries to get free, but can't! Time expires after a very long stalemate.

Round 3

: How do you see the fight after two rounds, Yoshida?
: It has to be tied 1-1.
: Jin will start off by firing some strikes.

: Pippin withstands the blows, and grabs Jin. He takes him to the cage, and there will be no takedown attempts this time. Pippin is looking at the clock.

: Jin cannot move, and time will expire. The only question is whether Jin's hard punches in the first minute of the round outweight Pippin's control. We'll see what the judges have to say.

Official Decision: Horace Pippin def. Keisuke Jin by Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

Welterweight Bout: Hungry Joe [HK] (1-3) vs. Hongo Takeshi [TAC] (0-5)

Round 1

: Obviously, Bret Michaels was supposed to be Hungry Joe's opponent here, but Michaels had an injury that his camp described as "heroin", which is both unclear and all too clear. In any event, it's pretty clear what Hungry Joe is looking for here. He'll absorb some punishment to get in close and-

: Hungry Joe can't win this fight without a takedown, and Takeshi can't win if he does get taken down.
: Joe tries again-

: A painful lesson for Hungry Joe as time expires.

Round 2

: Can Hungry Joe learn?

: To a certain extent, you have to admire Hungry Joe's tenacity. Sort of.

Round 3

: All Takeshi needs to do is avoid being taken down for one more round and he's got his first win.

: Ah, nevertheless.

Official Decision: Hungry Joe def. Hongo Takeshi by Submission (armbar) (1:22, Round 3)

Middleweight Bout: Stan [D-KEN] (0-5) vs. Petey Williams [CAN] (2-3)

Round 1

: Leading up to this fight, Stan said, and I quote, "Please, Smasher, whatever bitterness you have towards the world, I beg you, don't take it out on me. I want to live! Please, Smasher, I want to live!"
: Playing on your sense of mercy was not a great gameplan for Stan.

: And Stan will get taken down, and give up his back. He's trying everything to avoid being submitted, and it looks like he just might make it to the second round!

: Oh, nevermind.

Official Decision: Petey Williams def. Stan by TKO (Strikes) (4:55, Round 1)

Light Heavyweight Bout: Vince Neil [ROCK] (3-1) vs. Vladislav Henderson [FITCH] (3-1)

Round 1

: Neil is looking to get himself another title shot.

: Probably not the best way to do it.
: Neil is a tenacious fighter, but it's hard to win rounds on your back.
: Neil holds guard, and Henderson can't get through, and that will be it for the entire round.

Round 2

: Neil looking to strike-

: He may want to look harder. Henderson, starting in half-guard, finds it easier sledding this time around and gets the mount.

: And he will rain down punches. Credit to Neil, who is covering up well, but, again, he is losing this round.
: There's not a lot you can do from that position, especially against a better wrestler.

: That's not great.
: Neil tries a sweep-

: Tries indeed. Henderson has the back and is looking for the choke, but time will expire before he gets it.

Round 3

: Neil knows he needs a finish and charges forward-

: Henderson feels that one, and he will simply circle away for the remainder of the round as Neil vainly tries to catch him.
: Hard to fault Henderson here. He gave everything he had in the first two rounds and couldn't get the finish. No point in risking the easy win.

Official Decision: Vladislav Henderson def. Vince Neil by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Heavyweight Bout: Storg! [D-KEN] (3-4) vs. Chef Sal [HK] (2-2)

Round 1

: STORG....IGNITE!

Official Decision: Storg def. Chef Sal by TKO (Strikes) (1:40, Round 1)

Heavyweight Championship Bout: Vladimir Koslov [RBRCC] (7-0) vs. FS Drago [MSNT] (3-1)

: It is now time for the co-main event of the evening. Five rounds to determine the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world! Introducing first, the challenger, representing Matt Serra's Ninja Turtles, FS Drago! And his opponent, he is the reigning, defending, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Vladimir Koslov!

Round 1

: This is going to be a long one. Koslov's MO has been to drag his opponent deep into fights and then capitalize when they're tired. Sagat spent the equivalent of two fights battering Koslov without effect, and Villa, perhaps the toughest fighter around, couldn't wear him down. Drago needs to be prepared to dig deep and-

: Huh. So, wait, since Villa has a win over Drago, does that mean that Villa is getting the next title shot?
: I would imagine.

Official Decision: FS Drago def. Vladimir Koslov by TKO (Strikes) (4:18, Round 1)
Your winner and NOW THE THIRD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: FS DRAGO!

Welterweight Championship Bout: Logan Stourleigh [SODAK] (6-1) vs. Pander Panderer [UNDEF] (5-3)

: It is now time for the main event of the evening! The third and final encounter between Pander and Logan Stourleigh to determine once and for all the rightful welterweight champion of the world! Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 170 pounds, he is the former Welterweight Champion of the World, Pander Panderer! And his opponent, he is the reigning, defending Welterweight Champion of the world, Logan Stourleigh!

Round 1

: This fight is not going to last long.
: If you combine the times on the first two fights between Pander and Stourleigh, it's still less than a round's worth of time.
: Pander immediately bursts forward, he's intent on striking first!

: Stourleigh is hurt!

: Evil wins the day! And Pander is once again the welterweight champion!

Official Decision: Pander Panderer def. Logan Stourleigh by TKO (Strikes) (1:07, Round 1)
Your winner and ONCE AGAIN the Welterweight Champion: Pander Panderer!

SLFC 32: Weedman vs. Danielson 3

: Let's get this death march on the road!

Light Heavyweight Bout: Marshawn Money [MSNT] (3-4) vs. e.e. Cummings [NHC] (4-3)

Round 1

: Going into this fight, Money has been trying some unusual tactics in his fights.
: Cummings is probably too well-rounded of a fighter for that to work here.
: Money tries to work from the outside and-

: That was not great for him.
: It could be worse!

: Oh no!
: The ref won't take a point, but time will expire before anything comes of it.

Round 2

: Round two, and it looks like Money wants to strike with Cummings.
: I'm not sure if that's wise.

: I am now sure that it isn't wise!

Official Decision: e.e. Cummings def. Marshawn Money by KO (Punch) (1:12, Round 2)

Heavyweight Bout: Brouck Lessner [SODAK] (1-5) vs. Mike Haggar (1-4)

Round 1

: It is technically possible that neither man wins this fight, but it is impossible that both men lose. Lessner starts off by clinching Haggar, and he takes him to the fence. He grabs on, hoists Haggar up and-

: SUUUUUPERSLAM!
: Good start for Lessner.
: Lessner quickly takes the back! He gets both hooks in! And...in four minutes, he cannot get a rear naked choke. He had both hooks in and four minutes to work with, and could not get the choke before time expired. I might be wrong. It is possible that both of these guys could lose.

Round 2

: Lessner goes for a takedown-

: Lessner, in Haggar's guard, tries to pass guard. He can't. Tries to pass guard again. He can't. Tries to pass guard again. He can't. Tries to pass guard again.
: Fourth time's the charm?
: It's not. Time expires.

Round 3

: Third and final round, and Haggar needs a finish!

: Okay, that's not happening.

Official Decision: Brouck Lessner def. Mike Haggar by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Lightweight Bout: Ricky Ricks [HK] (2-2) vs. Joji Yuki [TAC] (1-2, 1 NC)

Round 1

: I've noticed a strange tendency amongst the Riders to try and take their opponent down before they get taken down themselves. I don't think that's a great plan.
: Well, Smasher-

: Oh.

Official Decision: Ricky Ricks def. Joji Yuki by KO (Punch) (4:06, Round 1)

Welterweight Bout: George Steiner [RCH] (5-2) vs. Shiro Kazami [TAC] (2-3)

Round 1

: Okay, now that we've established that Riders should NOT attempt to take their opponents down, let's see if Kazami can manage something. Anything.

: Better. In fact, it's canonically tasty.
: Go Riders!
: Steiner cannot manage even one takedown, and time will expire.

Round 2

: Steiner shoots for a takedown!

: And Kazami will continue to pick Steiner apart from the outside!
: Whatever Kazami's issues with wrestling might be, he is clearly the superior striker.
: And he'll hold Steiner off until time expires, and Kazami is up two rounds to none.

Round 3

: Steiner needs a finish here-

: And I guess he'll just take it.

Official Decision: George Steiner def. Shiro Kazami by Submission (arm triangle) (1:27, Round 3)

Heavyweight Bout: Sagat [FGC] (5-2) vs. Sodom Sinze [UNDEF] (1-1)

Round 1

: With Koslov no longer champion, Sagat is eager to get another title shot. The first crack against the new champ, FS Drago, will go to Juan Villa, but with a win here, Sagat probably gets the next shot afterwards. On the other hand, Sodom Sinze has a chance to disrupt the rankings with a win here.
: Sagat can be beaten, especially if Sinze can tire him out.
: Sagat shoots for the takedown!

: Can't get it, and Sinze grabs him and takes him to the cage, and they'll fight it out there until time expires.

Round 2

: I feel like Sagat has grown weary of grappling.

: Sagat takes Sinze to the cage-

: I'm not entirely sure what Sinze's plan is, but I don't think this is how it's supposed to go.
: The ref will break them up due to inactivity.

: OH NO! Run, Sinze, run!

: Time for last rites.

Official Decision: Sagat def. Sodom Sinze by KO (TIGER KNEE) (4:44, Round 2)

Lightweight Title Bout: Okie Dokie [D-KEN] (6-0) vs. Gomorrah Sinze [UNDEF] (2-0)

: It is now time for the co-main event of the evening! Five rounds for the undisputed lightweight championship. Introducing first, the challenger, from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, he has a perfect 2-0 record, Gomorrah Sinze! And his opponent, he is the reigning, defending, undefeated lightweight champion of the world, Okie Dokie!

Round 1

: The fight starts, and Sinze rushes towards Dokie-

: He takes Dokie to the fence and unloads-

: Having made his point, Sinze takes his foot off the pedal, and just grinds Dokie against the fence.
: It's probably a good strategy. Dokie is so explosive that keeping him contained makes sense.
: Time expires.

Round 2

: Round two starts and-

: Dokie's hurt, and Sinze moves forward, and jams Dokie right back up against the fence. And he'll grind Dokie down some more. And he will look to break so he can rear back for a big shot but-

: Dokie has a chance!

: Dokie grabs onto Sinze's neck as Sinze takes him down. If Dokie can hold on, he can choke Sinze out!

: No! He can't hold on! But he grabs on again!

: And Okie is back on top! But time expires before he can capitalize!

Round 3

: Round three, and both men are exhausted. Okie tries for a takedown of desperation-

: Sinze takes Okie back to the fence but Okie seizes one last chance!

: You wonder how much more Okie Dokie has left to give here.

: Sinze will break the clinch and will circle to the outsided as time expires.

Round 4

: Round four. Okie is exhausted.

: Sinze will show respect for Okie's abilities, but is content to hang around the outside and take potshots, and not much else will happen.

Round 5

: It's the final round. Does Okie need a finish here?
: I can see Okie getting one round, but I don't see how he's won two. He needs a finish to win, or a 10-8 round, if he can somehow manage it, to draw.
: Sinze seems to agree, and he'll use the last of his strength to grab onto Okie-

: And it looks like he wants to make one last statement!

: Sinze gets into side control and then realizes that the last thing on the planet he wants to do is try and fight Okie on the ground.

: Okie staggers forward, looking for something, anything, but Sinze will just back away and time will run out!

Official Decision: Gomorrah Sinze def. Okie Dokie by Uni. Decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46)
Your winner and the NEW Lightweight Champion: Gomorrah Sinze!

Middleweight Unification Bout: Avery Weedman [MSNT] (7-0) vs. Bryan Danielson [RBRCC] (5-2)

: This is the main event of the evening! Five rounds to determine the undisputed middleweight champion! Introducing first, the challenger, from Aberdeen, Washington, he is the interim middleweight champion, Bryan Danielson! And his opponent, coming back from injury, he is the reigning, defending, undefeated middleweight champion, Avery Weedman!

Round 1

: This is going to be a bloodbath. Weedman's already beaten Danielson twice.
: But Smasher, Bryan Danielson fights for his dreams! And that means that his dreams fight for him!
: What the hell does that even mean?

: Danielson's dream has a lot of power in its straight right.

Official Decision: Bryan Danielson def. Avery Weedman by KO (Punch) (4:02, Round 1)
Your winner and NEW Middleweight Champion: Bryan Danielson!

SLFC 33: Bon Jovi vs. Moxley

: Will this offseason end before all of these fighters die of old age? Stay tuned to find out!

Light Heavyweight Bout: Dankwart Rustow [NHC] (1-2) vs. Clevin Dark [SODAK] (5-3)

Round 1

: Dark fires a big kick and-

: And now Rustow will back away. And circle away. And run away.
: I think Rustow has decided that his best path to victory is Dark suffering from some sort of fatal health issue before the fight is over.
: Lovely. Time expires.

Round 2

: Round two and-

: Clearly, the events of Round Two are too exciting to further recount here.

Round 3

: It's the final round. Thank god.
: At least if Rustow can keep running, he can survive-

: Oh.

Official Decision: Clevin Dark def. Dankwart Rustow by TKO (Strikes) (1:34, Round 3)

Heavyweight Bout: Badland Chugs Jr. [HK] (1-1) vs. Gat [D-KEN] (3-3)

Round 1

: Round one and-

: gently caress.
: Wait, how does a centaur hit a spinning back fist?

: And I certainly don't know how a centaur hits a body kick!
: Both fighters will swing!

: Chugs goes down, but Gat can't get the finish before time expires!

Round 2

: Round two, and Chugs seems to be mostly recovered.
: Gat was incredibly aggressive last round, but Chugs is a decent counter-fighter. She may need to be careful here.

: Seems like a good call, but Gat is going to bear down and plow forward.

: Unwisely, as it turns out.

Official Decision: Badland Chugs Jr. def. Gat by KO (Punch) (1:37, Round 2)

Middleweight Bout: Axl Rose [ROCK] (1-3) vs. Blue Mary [FGC] (3-1)

Round 1

: Smasher! You said you would stop booking squash matches!

: I'll look into making sure the matches are more competitive going forward.

Official Decision: Blue Mary def. Axl Rose by TKO (Strikes) (4:46, Round 1)

Heavyweight Bout: Drakkhen Kennedy [D-KEN] (4-3) vs. Johnny Devine [CAN] (2-3)

Round 1

: And here we go!

: Oh god, it's going to be one of those fights.

Round 2

: Okay, last round was bad, but-

: Johnny Devine probably needs to do something here. Anything. Even running his face directly into Drakkhen's fist seems like it might work better.

Round 3

: Last round and-

: Yoshida, the important thing is that we survived.
: That actually does feel like an accomplishment.

Official Decision: Drakkhen Kennedy def. Johnny Devine by Uni. Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Lightweight Bout: Rei Himaru [SHIKI] (2-3) vs. Sakura Kasugano [FGC] (1-2)

Round 1

: Moving on-

: Okay, then moving on again.

Official Decision: Sakura Kasugano def. Rei Himaru by KO (Punch) (0:23, Round 1)

Heavyweight Bout: Slab [FITCH] (4-2) vs. Michael Bolton [ROCK] (4-1)

Round 1

: Bolton is a massive favorite here. If Slab is going to pull the upset off, he'll need a great gameplan!

: That appears to be a good plan. If a soul-crushing one for the audience.
: Time expires, and if Bolton can't figure this poo poo out, then he doesn't deserve a title shot anyway.

Round 2

: Round two. Slab wants to clinch and-

: God help me.
: There are times when pulling time is a good idea. That was not one of them.

: What sin could a man commit in a single life that would drat him so thoroughly that he would have to recap this fight? Time expires.

Round 3

: Bolton shoots for a takedown and-

: That's sort-of promising.

: Much less so! Bolton tries to grab and arm from his own guard and-

: He flips Slab over! Bolton goes for an armbar! He can't get it!
: He's working methodically here, but Bolton doesn't have time to work methodically! He lost the first two rounds. He has to get a finish!
: He tries for another armbar! Can't get it! Just one minute left! Bolton rolls Slab and takes the back with forty-five seconds left! Bolton sinks in the hooks! He tries for the choke! Just ten seconds left! He's trying to go under the chin! But no! Time expires! He's too late!

Official Decision: Slab def. Michael Bolton by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Light Heavyweight Championship Bout: Jon Bon Jovi [ROCK] (5-0) vs. Jon Moxley [RBRCC] (4-2)

: It is now time for the main event of the evening. Five rounds to determine the light heavyweight champion of the world! Introducing first, the challenger, from Cincinnati, Ohio, he is the former light heavyweight champion, Jon Moxley! And his opponent, he is the reigning, defending, undefeated light heavyweight champion of the world, Jon Bon Jovi!

Round 1

: We'll start and-

: Probably not how Moxley wanted to start the fight.
: Bon Jovi passes to side control. He looks for mount-

: Gets it! With just thirty seconds left in the round, he's going to start raining down punches! Moxley is getting hurt! He's just trying to hang on until the end of the round! There's a horn! Was that the end of the round?
: The ref is waving it off!
: And the ref has called for an end of the fight due to a TKO just one second before the end of the round! Bon Jovi retains!

Official Decision: Jon Bon Jovi def. Jon Moxley by TKO (Strikes) (4:59, Round 1)

Smasher Dynamo
Oct 16, 2008

Eternal Commissioner of the Super League. A new avatar. A new age, of the same old embittered Smasher that failed to escape the bonds of the SL, FM3, Johnny Hopp and Eri Yoshida "The Knuckle Princess". "The flames of Smasher's ire scorch the skies... Igniting St. Bellhorn's funeral pyre."
SLFC 34: Drago vs. Villa

: It's Friday. I don't want to be here. No one else cares. Let's get this over with.

Lightweight Bout: JR Leap [UNDEF] (3-3) vs. Hyperion Royale [MSNT] (2-2)

Round 1

: We're underway and-

: Good! Except it appears that Royale will survive.

: And Royale will end up on top, in half-guard, a position from which neither fighter is able to do much of anything, and he will manage to open up a small cut under JR Leap's eye, but not a lot else. Time expires.
: Both fighters got hurt. You wonder if that will affect them going forward.

Round 2

: Round two and-

: JR Leap controls the action! And Royale will circle away for the rest of the round to try and avoid getting knocked out.
: That might not be wise. JR Leap definitely won the second round, and she probably won the first, since she got a knock down.

Round 3

: It's the final round, and Royale drives forward!

: And JR Leap will merely stare at Royale and shake her head.
: Royale doesn't have great power. Or good power. Or any power.
: Royale tries to seize the initiative and clinches with JR Leap and takes her to the cage where-

: So, Royale has so little power that he can just smash JR Leap in the face repeatedly, and she's fine?
: Apparently. The ref pauses the fight to check on the cut, and it's under the eye, so it's not going to be an issue, and that will take us to the end of the fight.

Official Decision: JR Leap def. Hyperion Royale by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Welterweight Bout: Hungry Joe [HK] (2-3) vs. Jean-Claude Boeuf [FITCH] (3-3)

Round 1

: Both fighters are wrestlers and are looking to grapple. They clinch, try and get the other down and-

: That's good for Boeuf!

: That's bad for Boeuf!

: That's good for Boeuf!
: And time expires.

Round 2

: Boeuf takes Hungry Joe back to the cage and-

: SUUUUUUPERSLAM! And then-

: Wait, how does that work? The position seems off.
: I assume that Boeuf effectively pulled guard as he grabbed the choke and leaned back. I think. Don't worry about it, it's fine.

Official Decision: Jean-Claude Boeuf def. Hungry Joe by Submission (guillotine) (1:37, Round 2)

Middleweight Bout: Stan [D-KEN] (0-6) vs. Herman McNally [RCH] (1-3)

: I think that's the last of the records.
: Into the fire they go! No one must ever know of the terrible events we just witnessed.

Official Decision: Stan def. Herman McNally by Uni. Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-26)

Heavyweight Bout: William Regal [RBRCC] (2-3) vs. STORG! [D-KEN] (4-4)

Round 1

: I demand action!

: NO! Real action!

: Now we're talking! Regal moves to mount and...time expires. Of course.

Round 2

: Okay, last round was a dud, but-

: At this point, both of these guys have had enough fights where-
: I know, okay! They're both boring fighters and I shouldn't have booked this fight!

Round 3

: Round three and-

: Are you seriously telling me that Regal hit Storg right in the face, and even after that, couldn't get a takedown?
: Maybe Storg can-

: Oh.
: That's it! I have had enough! Fight over!

Official Decision: William Regal def. Storg by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Middleweight Bout: Vince Neil [ROCK] (3-2) vs. Tyson Dux [CAN] (2-2)

Round 1

: Please, give me something here.

: Okay, that looks good.

: Now we're talking! Dux recovers, and Neil ends up in side control! He shoots some knees right into Dux's ribcage and time expires on round one.
: We've had no knockouts so far tonight. That's unusual.

Round 2

: Round two and-

: Almost? I'm sorry, but 'almost' knocking someone out doesn't really count, now does it? And that's all I'm getting for the entire round?

Round 3

: Time for the last round. Yoshida, what does Vince Neil need to do in order to win this fight?
: He absolutely has to be aggressive here.

: Good loving god. Does anyone here want to actually fight?

Official Decision: Tyson Dux def. Vince Neil by Uni. Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

: For the record, those striking numbers don't look so bad until you realize that almost the entire fight was standing up with both fighters in space. Which does make it bad. Two strikes a minute, not even two strikes that actually landed, mind you, just two strikes attempted a minute!

Lightweight Bout: Mazus [D-KEN] (2-2, 1 NC) vs. Horace Pippin [NHC] (2-1)

Round 1

: Behold, the totality of Mazus:

: Also, Mazus then immediately failed a drug test and was suspended for a year.

Official Decision: Horace Pippin def. Mazus by Submission (armbar) (4:40, Round 1)

Heavyweight Championship Bout: FS Drago [MSNT] (4-1) vs. Juan Villa [RCH] (4-2)

: The following contest, scheduled for five rounds, is for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing first, the challenger, from Stockton, California, Juan Villa! And his opponent, from Lincoln, Nebraska, wherever the gently caress that is, he is the reigning, defending heavyweight champion of the world, FS Drago!

Round 1

: This is the second meeting between these men. Villa won the first meeting. And Drago is going to try and be more aggressive-

: Drago has Villa down, but can't get past guard.
: This is not a safe position for Drago!
: Villa will try every submission from the bottom he can think of as Drago can do nothing but defend himself. The ref will eventually stand them up. Drago seems to be at a bit of a loss, and time will expire.

Round 2

: Round two, and Villa shoots for a takedown!

: And Drago will take Villa to the cage-

: Drago is the superior athlete, he's technically more proficient, but whatever he does, it seems like Villa won't go down easily.

: Drago gets free and take a second to think about his next move.
: Drago is getting Villa in the right positions, it's just that Villa keeps finding a way to fight back.
: Villa shoots for another takedown, but Drago is able to clinch, and drags Villa to the fence, and he'll just keep Villa there for the entire round.

Round 3

: Villa plows forward-

: Villa goes down! Drago tries to finish, but Villa grabs him and puts him back in the guard!
: At a certain point, Drago may want to consider risk management when it comes to this position. Villa's guard is incredibly dangerous.
: Drago appears to be listening to you. He'll just lay on Villa until the ref stands them up. Villa shoots for a takedown immediately, and Drago collects him and takes him to the cage but-

: Drago is winning this fight, but it feels like he's losing at every turn.
: Villa grabs Drago and-

: Down goes Drago, and time will expire before Villa can pass the guard.

Round 4

: Villa is feeling momentum. He shoots for the takedown-

: He gets it! He's looking to pass!

: A reversal of fortune! And Drago is looking to do some damage here!
: At a certain point, fighting defensively against Villa just becomes riskier than opening up-

: Drago wins!

Official Decision: FS Drago def. Juan Villa by TKO (Strikes) (2:58, Round 4)
