Yeah, I get it I just find it humorous. He's probably signed thousands of these based on how many I've seen floating around. He's got at least the /299, /199, /99, then not to mention how many non-numbered ones out.

You sit down after BP in a room with the Bowman guy, who hands you a few pens and a stack of cards. At least they get proofs for themselves to give out to friends and family, and I'll bet (at least the very first time) it's a pretty cool feeling, to see your face on a card.

On the back the right corners have some white. Outside of that perhaps since it's a full card image with multiple pictures it's hard to give it a centering My whatnot trip report Games / wheel spins There are a lot of channels who just do sell repacks/ random cards. It's like a casino where you bet real money and can only win cards., that also has carnival barkers. I saw one channel where there were wheel spins for 5,0000 each. Card sellers. They also sell / action cards live. There was a good variety of cards sold, from parallels, sps to graded cards . However the starting bid is $2.00. So those low end parallels / base cards that would sell for a quarter or so at a lcs are now "worth" 2.00. The group break prices seemed normal or on par with others. However how teams are assigned in ransoms is quite different and shady. Some use a deck of cards with team logos. Others use a wheel. I've seen some that do a best of 3 spins / random where you can keep or pass on your team. Free give aways. I actually won a couple of free give aways Two of them were base/ parallel cards. One was a Tyrese Haliburon PSA 10. So these seem to be legit, from my experience. I've heard others getting a hat or wrist band with the channels logo. Receiving cards bought/ hit I bought one Pokemon pack, and had it opened. As well as a baseball box break. The Pokemon shipping info was sent withib 24 hours. While the baseball was sent in days. Both orders arrived within a week. . Card theft. There are quite a few reports of cards being pulled and people not receiving their cards. This is an issue with group breaking in general and not solely on the whatnot platform. If Jackson Merrill makes it to the majors, this is probably what I will remember him for when I see him on TV or hear his name mentioned now, lol.

Who knows if I'll ever see them, but I just hit two $0.99 BINs that had to have been meant for auction for a total of $4.50 shipped. A 2013 Topps Tribute dual-jersey Strasburg to 99 and a 2011 Topps Diamond Duos Ryan Howard (jersey) and Jason Heyward (bat) out of 50.

Sent a couple of pretty expensive modern cards that I opened off to PSA for grading, since for some reason those command the most resale value and they're too pricey to keep. Sending like 30 other cards that I like a lot more off to SGC for a lot cheaper, and will probably get them back faster.

 If you've ever been curious what 15 cases worth of a player break looks like, here you go!! Ended up with 109 base, a gold foil, a rainbow foil, and a gold /2023. I think it was 9 hobby cases and 6 jumbo cases, but I might have those flipped. Paid like $20.

Recently got my first COMC order delivered. Nothing exciting, but a lot more fun than spending the equivalent dollar amount on wax. I briefly thought Jung was gonna win ROY, so I went a little overboard there. I got the auto for $10 and it goes for about $40 now, so not too bad.

Just how prevalent are bogus PSA certs? I put a Joey Votto jersey in my watchlist not intending to buy any time soon and got an offer from the seller pretty quickly. Looked up the number on the certification sticker and oops it’s nowhere in the PSA database!

If it's freshly slabbed the database might not be updated yet. I saw the same thing with an Ohtani insert this week, the seller listed the card as soon as they got the scans from PSA and the database still hasn't updated.

So..I bought like 3k Giants cards the other day and when I got them I now have no idea what to do with them. This must be what it feels like to be the last one holding the bag. There were some stars I grew up with like Will Clark, Matt Williams, and Bonds, but for the most part they are a bunch of no namers from the 80s.. I guess I'll be giving them away to my son's little league team come springtime. I didn't pay much for them (1c a card after shipping) so NBD but the realization that these are worthless pieces of cardboard finally hit me I guess.

Blowout has 2021 Topps Chrome NPB hobby boxes for $99 this week. Might be worth a look if Yamamoto makes the jump this year. The set also has Roki Sasaki's Topps rookie card.
