Bobby Slowik is about to get shortlisted for HC opportunities. A Shanahan acolyte who clearly understands how to make the system work is basically a ticket to a functioning NFL offense.

Gotta love when the refs swallow a whistle on a very blatant rear end holding.

While that was infuriating to watch live it was a solid strategy by the tackle. The Chiefs had just been flagged for an egregious hold the down before. That garbage Oline is just daring the refs to call it.

This might be the smoothest pass I've ever seen. Effortless form leading to the perfect placement. The WR doesn't even catch it. The ball simply arrived in his hands.

Stroud might have the yards but Richardson has more TDs in fewer quarters played.

hahah this is exactly what I said to a friend - "CJ threw it so well he gently placed the ball in the WRs hands thirty yards down the field".

As an ostensible Michigan fan in the college game, it's deeply ironic to me that the first Ohio State QB to lose multiple starts to Michigan since before 9/11 appears to be the first one in that timeframe to actually do anything in the pro game. I've been watching the Terrelle Pryors of the world ruin my poo poo for 20 years and then vanish into the mists of time, and then Michigan clowned on this guy twice and suddenly he's lighting the league up (through only four games, tbf)

I don't know how this is the take here after last night. We've got a whole lot of whining about refs robbing the game going on, Zach actually looked good for a little while. That defense has never stopped playing. Forced or not Mahomes had his first actually bad game in quite a while where the problems were him and not other things.

I don't expect it to end well of course, but they haven't quit just yet.

I can't find a comprehensive list, but I'm pretty sure that Roquan Smith might be the best mid-season trade the Ravens have ever made. I didn't watch much of him in Chicago but he is just astoundingly good. It's been a while since we've had this kind of elite elite off-ball linebacker play in Baltimore (Ray had lost a lot of speed by about 2010-2011), and it is so fun to watch because he's involved in so many plays. Pass coverage, blitz, sideline to sideline run support, he's everywhere. There is ZERO hesitation in his game. have a taste:

Its almost like if the OC calls plays that allow the QB to look like he's trying, the rest of the team feeds off the energy. If the OC is going to call "Dalvin Cook gets tackled in the backfield" followed by "Breece Hall for no gain" then a dumb poo poo obvious passing play on 3rd down" I wouldnt be trying very hard, either.

Yeah, those tweets were hardly concrete evidence. From the wording to the source itself.

Sounds like he was saying the official whose job it was call that hold couldnt see it from that angle. Almost like it was a hold but its understandable he missed it.

That video clearly contradicts what he's posting though. He doesn't keep the defender in front of him, the defender is trying to yank away and is past him for a few steps. That's absolutely a hold man.

The Sauce play, I've seen that called before from the worst refs in the game. But they weren't calling that all game and the motherfucker literally waited until the Jets' DB picked the ball off to put his pudgy little bitch hand in his pocket and pull the flag to save the Chiefs the game.
