It’s literally been a decade of spectacular failure. This is normal. We got to win 4 trophies and now have to suffer the same way our grandparents did after the glory years of the 40s and 50s by watching decades of dogshit. I feel bad for my kids. They were one years old in 2011. They love the Giants and they have a memory of like 2 winning seasons. It’s just so exhausting that we have the same problems year after year. Nothing changes.

The line being balls and Jones being balls is very much feeding into each other at the moment and making the problem that much worse. It's hard to be a great or good QB with a bad o-line that can't protect but Davecrazy is right, you watch him and there's this moment every play where it feels like you are screaming "THROW IT DANNY" but he doesn't. Eli spent his final decade of play behind garbage o-lines but he still threw the drat ball on time and read defenses and he never looked this bad. Witherspoon just straight up called Jones out in the post-game interview too, saying he stares down his targets. Which makes him not throwing the ball fast even worse because he's seeing coverage and then not processing what to do when at this point he has to know he's not safe back there and he has to fall back to a dink or dunk, anything, just get rid of the drat ball, it'll keep the defense more honest https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1709050818425667959

After watching a month, I think the eagles probably lose to the niners and bills. Chiefs will be tough but the nfl will lean in for the chiefs so it’s probably a loss too. Miami may be tough if the eagles secondary is still in shambles

Starting 10/22, they've got: - Dolphins - Commanders - Cowboys - Chiefs - Bills - Niners - Cowboys I don't think anything better than 3-4 is realistic for that stretch with how they've been playing, and I'd wager they go 2-5. Edit: There's a world where they go 8-0, then drop five straight, then win out to go 12-5.

I don't understand how we have so many individually incredible defensive players but as a whole they are so bad and can't stop anything. You'd think we hired Matt Patricia to replace Gannon or something.
