Holy poo poo. Didn't think I'd see the day we got new PIB tunes at this point. I don't have words to express how excited I am for this.

Anyone else going to Riot Fest this weekend? I’ll be there Friday and Saturday. And then I bought tickets to the FEA/Interrupters after show. I saw FEA at Punk Rock Bowling and they are awesome. So I am seeing them twice this weekend lol

First new Mark/Tom/Travis blink-182 album in 12 years coming out 10/20. They say it's the best album they've ever done in this trailer, but if that song Edging they put out last year is on the album, I doubt it.

I believe that they believe it. I think that their personal definitions of what makes their best album ever might hit differently to them as creators that are obviously trying to mend their friendships and navigate the problems they've had with one another than it does as a listener.

I'm a big fan of a lot of the music they've made both in Blink and outside of it, so I've got my fingers crossed.

I’m sure the album written by 50 year old millionaires is really gonna connect to the youth like the songs they wrote about jacking it in their bedroom did.

I really hope it's good, because I've loved a lot of blink's material. I'm just not setting my expectations very high. Hopefully it'll be a pleasant surprise.

Riot Fest was a blast, I only did Friday and Saturday but I had a lot of fun. I can post more about it if people are interested, I remember making an effort post in 2019 that got good feedback.

Also realistically I wouldn't expect them to say "sorry guys, we tried our best"

I should have checked this thread before I went - I was there on Sat and had a blast. The pit for Death Grips was brutal.

Of new blink songs I think more than you know is good and one more time's lyrics impressed me but the song itself is a bit saccharine and obvious

The album will probably be good as long as there aren't too many slow songs. They have strong melodies here still.

Definitely enjoying the new blink songs. Close enough to the stuff I grew up listening to, but grown up a bit? It's fun and makes me smile, in today's world I'll take it.

Bummed to have learned that Rick Froberg, singer and guitarist of Drive Like Jehu passed away

Their album Yank Crime is one of my very favorite albums ever. They only released two albums and stopped working together in 1995 or so

But they did do some reunion shows. This is from I’m guessing 2015
