maybe it's just stockholm syndrome after the depths of the 2nd movie, where they a) relied on Gal Gadot's acting chops and b) gave a tragic and trauma-based backstory for his mustache, but i didn't think the most recent movie was that bad.

i mean, yes, still totally unnecessary given that we already had an iconic poirot performance to watch, but, you know, not actively bad
