Some photos from the Palestinian rally in Winnipeg. Surprisingly good turnout, especially considering there was a pro trans/counter "save the children" protest happening at the exact same time across the street. Had to lol at the stupid Israeli counter protest. There were maybe 10-15 people, including a guy with a megaphone doing the 40 decapitated babies schtick. Their sign game was pathetic. Not that I heard. I didn't catch the names of all the speakers. There was at least two Jewish speakers, I think one was a rabbi. Hassan Husseini from labor for Palestine said rich white people don't get to tell oppressed people how to resist, which is correct

Pretty sure the Greens are mostly still just Liberals in Teslas OP. If you have to vote I guess you can choose one of the two (identical??) communist parties but I don't either of them run candidates in every riding. And they're probably just soc dems in rubber masks or something anyway

One of my city councillors is running for the Greens for the provincial bi election. I voted for her for counciler. I talked to her for a good bit of time and she seems like a good pick but the municipal election was barely a year ago and she's trying to move up already without doing poo poo. Seems power grabby. Marit Stiles is my MPP and I actually bothered to write her office for the first time ever about the party's wishy washy statements and willingness to throw their members under the bus when they immediately gave Jama poo poo last week. So much for my vote, I guess.
