This would be MadBum getting a ring he didn't do poo poo for. His ego can't handle that. This would be a ring he hides in shame because he couldn't crack an absolutely horrendous rotation

Still wild to me that Bumgarner was like a consistent top 10 pitcher in MLB and then derailed his own career because he figured it would be a smart idea to go dirt biking in-between starts and crashed directly onto his pitching shoulder.

His career implosion is payment for the deal he made with the devil that made him unhittable in the 2014 World Series. :argh:

The dirt bike crash surely didn’t help but at least some of his collapse is due to his infamously stubborn disposition. He got older like everyone does and he was steadfastly unwilling to consider changes to his approach. There were stories about this coming out of AZ this year, how he clashed with coaches etc over it.

Anyway read the whole thing and it can basically be summed up as "Dusty is way too stubborn in his decision making and values veterancy more than actual performance, which becomes a problem when a bunch of your veterans aren't performing."

He just seems like a deeply stupid person. A huge part of being a successful player into your 30's is recognizing what you can and cannot do anymore and adjusting your game accordingly.

McTaggart is reporting in his newsletter that Brantley won't be back, Maldy is done as the starter, and don't bank on any of the FAs coming back (Stanek, Neris, Maton). Sure wish we hadn't showered the worst arm on our entire staff with dough that essentially prices us out of signing Maton or Neris.

Also that while Dana Brown will "get a say", Crane and Bagwell will be making the decision on a new manager. Welcome Brad Ausmus!

Sorry - we're just used to being in here until the end.

With the CRE industry just in a pit right now, Dallas could use a pick me up - go Rangers - maybe Adolis can hit a ball hard enough to lower interest rates.

I apologize for Dallas CRE bro post.

I count CRE bros among my closest friends and even have family that are in CRE. I understand the pain and suffering my comment has caused to commercial real estate developers, brokers, agents, property managers, Instagram influencers, hustle culture entrepreneurs, and most importantly you, the tenant.

Please let me offer my sincerest apologies and I am confident Jerome will let go of the chokehold, the good times will come again and you, your friends, and the entire commercial real estate *community* will soon be popping bottles on a Yacht in Miami after completing a Class B Industrial flip in Fort Worth.
