Tearmoon Empire veers into the body horror this week, as Princess Mia's favorite weapon proves ineffective and her hands leave her control and deliver her into the clutches of her greatest enemies. From a certain point of view, anyway. The show seems adamant to get a whole lot done this season, so it's not taking as much time to linger on the little bits of irony as it might. Taking Anne to school with her is definitely changing Mia's future... albeit by getting her involved with all the resentful outlanders and justice-minded people who sealed her fate in the first place.

Eh I can see it especially since a lot of 90's development is not that well documented and modern tools can do the tricks easier. I can easily see someone just using say photoshop and thinking it was always done that way

I don't think anyone in the thread is watching this anymore, but I liked the OP and the art is cute, so I kept watching The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess. So... it came down to the big showdown between Terukomari and Millicent. Can't stand yandere girls who blame their lovely bullying behavior on not being loved enough as a child. So her vicious smackdown was well-earned. Millicent's VA does good "crazy rear end bitch" speech and laugh.

Also, besides Yuri on Ice (with my hero-worship for anything ice-skating, I considered this more of a sports anime), this season is baby's first yaoi with My New Boss is Goofy. Kinda funny that besides this character, who was barely introduced episode 4:  no one is confirmed gay/bi/pan. In fact, the other three either have an ex-wife or ex-girlfriends only. It's really cute and they flirt with each other a lot, unbeknownst to themselves. Quite refreshing.

Did episode 4 of Apothecary Diaries have a different director? It had a lot more attention to movement than the previous 3 episodes. Some rotoscoping too.

Different storyboard and episode direction credits (both by china) than the prior episodes, yeah. The main director storyboarded 1-3 with different episode directors. Same for "I'm In Love With The Villainess," though I had the twist about it spoiled for me so I know what's coming.

SLF episode 5 was good, now that we are really getting into the characters and it starts building up for more intensity Also the English dub has been much better than I thought it might be Fierien has continued to be excellent. My wife is actually big into the creepy twin anime and the villianious love anime.

Don't get what happened here in the esports match in Protocol ep4 Ok, so its a plant the bomb/disarm format. The main characters team vs. the favorite. First to 7 wins. Turns out the MC's team kind of sucks defending and loses 5 in a row, at which point, they switch sides. They end up doing good just rushing and planting and win 5 in a row as well....and they don't switch sides after these 5 games, and they keep staying on the attacking side and win 7 in a row. What the heck happened?
