I always wonder about these.forum superstars who pay $10 a pop to post the same dumb poo poo only to get banged, over and over. Do they think they'll eventually wear everyone else down or win them over?

Someone posting for a decade about how Bitcoin is actually genius, and getting banned each time for being a nutter is that kind of high key insanity resilience you see in movies for roles played by Gary Busey. It's never because they have a real point, it's more just "when I was a kid and kept insisting on something the adults would end up sighing and agreeing".

I think these people are kind of fascinating and I'd be curious what sort of life "off the line" they live, even if the reality is "barely" because I want to know how they handle, if at all, real human interaction.

Sorry, I mean, Bitcoin best, make U rich, don't ask about my actual bank account.

A Quaker high school wrestler was pulled into an argument about the Vietnam war. Some dude was yelling at him that the only way to get people to see reason is to go to war with him, so the Quaker picked the guy up and threw him across the room, then asked "now do you agree with me?" The dude of course said "no, rear end in a top hat", and the Quaker said, "that is my point."

It's happening because of speculation that the SEC is going to approve bitcoin ETFs in January. You can sell bitcoin pretty easily on the big exchanges.

The comic is funny because with only very minimal tweaking it would prove the point that a lot of people have been saying for years now, that all that is gibberish and the only thing buttcoiners actually care about is how rich it would make them with a minimum of effort. All those other things? Meaningless, inapplicable, or wholly disingenuous. Simply fig leaves to hide their true motivations.

If you actually googled "what is money" and got a theoretical understanding of what money does, the first thing you'd do is run the loving opposite direction of bitcoin at a speed physicists would say is impossible.

Sell for what though? Other crapto currencies? To what extent are customers able to pull actual US dollars out into actual bank accounts?

Presumably if I buy an ETF through Schwab, and later sell my shares in that ETF, Schwab will give me my money. The problem comes if the exchange in question abruptly dies/is pillaged, but what are the odds of that?

I don't think he's talking about ETF. I think he believes you can't cash out to a real bank from any exchange. I know Binance is having problems, but I don't think that's the rule.

Gotta wait for six confirmations to be sure, so sit back in the waiting room for the next hour or else you get tazed in the balls for leaving without paying.
