Literally one person got who I was dressed up as, and I'm only 7% sure they didn't just read the name patch. But, I wasn't in the contest anyway, because our drummer was officiating it. Hilariously, my wife, who was dressed as Tina from Bob's Burgers, won the contest in a run-off between her and a very convincing pirate. My son* was also in attendance since the gig was close-ish to home. He was dressed as a pirate (not the pirate who won), and I'm mad at myself for not realizing that I could have bought some darts, removed the tips, made some butterfly-shaped flights, and attached them to his arm. Apparently one episode had a cut scene in a flashback where Professor Impossible was having his name removed from a university office, apparently due to a scandal with a student named Sally, and that explains so much and twists the knife that his wife was a student probably at least a decade his junior.
