theyre gonna either go into the actual urban areas of gaza and die (take note its been three weeks of the ground invasion and theyve been physically stopped in the north at beit hanoun which is a gas station compared to gaza city) or they're trying to pressure hamas into a more favourable negotiating position to come to some arrangement about the prisoner deal, then withdraw and israel dies because they cant decisively defeat a concentration camp they made so they cant even protect themselves in the future and guarantee security to their settlers. with the added bonus of making themselves and america the actual nazis of the modern age in terms of reputation.

So they're probably going to murder everybody in the hospital and declare it V-G day. Then the ceasefire becomes victory instead of an embarrassment.
