And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.

A24 films testing badly is never an indicator of the film's quality. Midsommar got a C+ CinemaScore, Hereditary got D+; mainstream/test audiences can't handle being depressed (which is impossible for a human existing in November 2023 to avoid being at some point), so an A24 film about the literal most depressing family in sports history, not just wrestling history, was always gonna wreck them especially

It's available for purchase on Amazon Prime Video for $3

His films available for streaming are Angel of Reckoning, Blood Prism and Skull Forest, each on Tubi for free

What’s the movie where Kurtis Angle plays a murder clown who isn’t Art the Murder Clown. That’s probably the best wrestling adjacent movie. I have never and will never see it.

Sadsack Corbin with a stain on his shirt was lovely. I also liked Happy Corbin and his silly hat.

He is also hugely entertaining and charismatic in his UUDD cameos. Which to me showcase how much WWE can suck the life/energy/charisma from anyone. Because him mucking about with his mates having fun, is so much more compelling than him actually wrestling and/or "performing"

However saying that. All criticisms of him being poo poo and useless are true and valid. I just have bad taste.

I loved him from the moment he debuted in NXT as the saddest man alive who won in three seconds and then told people who had never been in Ring of Honor to go back to Ring of Honor.

This whole post is correct. Fellow bad taste haver!

He stood up to the quack doctor that WWE bought in to justify the WWE's poor concussion protocols.

I basically have to like him. I went to the same college as him before he went to WWE. I mean, we weren't like friends or anything, just met a few times at parties and I knew of him because of the football team, but yeah. I can't give him too much poo poo, either.

Popular culture has passed you by.
Baron Corbin is one of those difficult WWE-specific cases where he is basically awesome in many regards and many people can come up with a bunch of funny or entertaining things he did, but all of that is weighed down by countless hours of him doing gently caress all or being a chore to watch. And i mean countless, Corbin has been heavily featured for a long time now with comparatively little to show for.
