A24 films testing badly is never an indicator of the film's quality. Midsommar got a C+ CinemaScore, Hereditary got D+; mainstream/test audiences can't handle being depressed (which is impossible for a human existing in November 2023 to avoid being at some point), so an A24 film about the literal most depressing family in sports history, not just wrestling history, was always gonna wreck them especially

What’s the movie where Kurtis Angle plays a murder clown who isn’t Art the Murder Clown. That’s probably the best wrestling adjacent movie. I have never and will never see it.

Because him mucking about with his mates having fun, is so much more compelling than him actually wrestling and/or "performing" However saying that. All criticisms of him being poo poo and useless are true and valid. I just have bad taste.

Baron Corbin is one of those difficult WWE-specific cases where he is basically awesome in many regards and many people can come up with a bunch of funny or entertaining things he did, but all of that is weighed down by countless hours of him doing gently caress all or being a chore to watch. And i mean countless, Corbin has been heavily featured for a long time now with comparatively little to show for.
