Charissa Thompson's only mistake was publicly admitting it. Nobody cares about sideline reports unless they go haywire for some reason

From every sideline interview with a coach I've ever seen, she's already qualified to be a head coach.

i thought it was already an agreed upon thing about that stuff being made up and coaches not ever wanting to talk instead of heading to the locker room or being busy in there. once you break down the significantly different situations a team can be in, there are like 3 or 4 of them and coaches will say the same words about each

Its also from forever ago. Its like when I made up that I knew how to drive a box truck to get a job as a PA. Who gives a poo poo

Reminds how in the NBA, teams that were over the cap would just take a nominal salary cap hit for retired players so they could theoretically include them in future trades to match salary. Keith Van Horn got an extra 4.3 million two years after he was retired (though never filed the official paperwork) to help balance the salaries when the Mavs traded for Jason Kidd

Seriously. Love Amazon openly eye-rolling at the whole thing with "it was 15 years ago." The only people that seem to care are the ones already looking for excuses to trash journalism and/or women.
