while I was still in the uk from 2009-ish ondwards I didn't know a single brit that used anything else. same in the 8 years I lived in the US. no American I knew used anything else domestically. sometimes people, including me, used it to talk to europeans, even when they were iHavers

we monitor many frequencies. we listen always. came a voice, out of the babel of tongues, speaking to us. it played us a mighty dub.
i use imessage because it's already on the phone and i'm not signing up for yet another 3rd party service to send text messages

conveniently, this also is the case for anyone i need to send or receive text messages from, so it just works
