I hate that Eddie put the RoH title on the line in this because like the winner of the tournament with a ton of main event stars basically gets banished to the midcard instead of being pushed to an AEW title shot or something the tournament itself is gonna own though

Takaeshita is a good name for next year or the year after, whenever they actually start pushing him. Right now in AEW he's a glorified jobber to the stars waiting for his break out moment. Either build the tournament around him or don't include him and the first one shouldn't be built around him.

It just feels like an admission that the main event scene is a loving mess so lets get all these cool matches going for a new Midcard belt but its gonna be on tv. Kinda like what the Fed did with whatever belt Seth has but probably better. =]
