Doing ok, definitely preferable to making her suffer because I couldn't say goodbye I went through my digital photo albums and have professionally printed off a small selection and got a small physical album. That will probably live on the coffee table for a bit

I just did 3hrs of treetops adventure park with lil bee and two of her friends and holy poo poo I'm knackered. Really glad that I've been lifting weights on the regular for the last two months otherwise I'd still be stuck up in one of the trees. I watched a really fit looking 20 something guy and his tiny girlfriend who were a bit ahead of us on the course and even though the guy was a meataxe he was having a harder time of it because he was heavier and had to bear more weight with his upper body. I've earned a new respect for all the insane people on that ninja warrior show, that poo poo is way more difficult than it looks on tv

The Newcastle one out at Minmi. No auto-belay at the end of this one, we had to climb down a very narrow, very high ladder to get back down on the ground. It probably would have been a lot easier if we'd done it in better weather so everything wasn't wet and slippery but lil bee had her heart set on it for weeks so we just pushed on.

Half my lawn is pretty much dead at the moment and I remembered the conversation people were having about replacing their lawns with clover. Is there anywhere good to get seeds? Bunnings has 50 varieties of grass, but no clover.

My partner and I fostered rescue dogs for quite a few years and had to say goodbye to a few and make some hard decisions. It’s criminal that dogs don’t live as long as we do. I’m sorry for your loss and hope it’s not too long before the great memories outweigh the sad stuff.

Most people don't know this but as well as being the sweetest babies, some cockatoos have an extreme lust for pork. Mostly they'll have a quick taste and spit it out but a few birds, maybe 1 in 10, love it. Imagine you've given a child their first ice cream cone. I also just saw a crested pigeon try to impress his lady friend. It was so cute. They have huge and beautiful purple/UV feathers in their wings.
