I stopped following the thread I think at some point pre-covid, just for the good of my sanity, and neither that nor the duck comic seem to have changed, at all. They're all exactly the same as they ever were. Unless it's referencing something specific I couldn't tell you if a given strip was from this year or last year or 2017. I wonder if Stantis knows that. I wonder if the people publishing these comics know that.

You know who else has hosed-up opinions? If this weren't in the context of the last few strips, I would say it was actually pretty decent. I thought Sinfest was all tradcath now. Admitting something predates Christ? What's going on here? Also, there's 2023, since it's the end of November and he remembered he has to pay this off somehow. As you can see, she's aged a bit since her last appearance a few days ago, although the extent of that will be more obvious in a few strips. Just gonna throw in more Porn = Pedophilia stuff, I guess. Do I even have to do the Good Cartoon thing here? Tats is clearly trying to make it appear that these are just excuses used by the conspiracy, but he doesn't really sell it here. Maybe something in the last panel with the sex worker actually being really upset instead? Of course, to do that he'd have to acknowledge her agency in some way, which he is incapable of doing. Here you go; he's obviously remembered she's supposed to be old now, so she just magically became old. Oh, also, we're back to "foreigners are evil"; keep in mind that even when he's doing strips sympathizing with Palestinians, he only cares about them as long as they're over there, where they belong, not coming anywhere near America like his forebears did. I guess the FBI ghosts aren't Jewish. Young men don't actually like porn, it's just those pesky FBI ghosts! Also: imagine exactly how incomprehensible this would be if somehow it were the first Sinfest strip you ever saw. No Pettyfest this week; this Israel/Palestine arc really seems to be depressing the silly jokes about the strip; can't think why.

poly and open-minded posted:Is there a reason why the cryptofascist prime minister of Italy is saying welcome? I wish I could answer this, but the comic is so stupifying that I'm not sure what's going on. I believe that Tats and his ilk are mad at Rishi for firing Braverman and at Meloni because her government is opening pathways for legal immigration (and because they support Ukraine, unlike our hero Netanyahu). I just don't know what that has to do with the FBI making us watch porn. https://www.politico.eu/article/italy-far-right-leader-giorgia-meloni-migration/ quote:Meloni’s legal migration decree estimates Italy needs 833,000 new migrants over the next three years to fill in the gap in its labor force. It opens the door to 452,000 workers over the same period to fill seasonal jobs in sectors like agriculture and tourism as well as long-term positions like plumbers, electricians, care workers and mechanics.

I get that "Ishida is inconsistent" is a meme, but I don't think we've ever seen a turnaround this quick. On Monday, Netanyahu is portrayed as a goofy comedian hiding horrific crimes, and heretofore Israel has always, in modern Sinfest canon, been portrayed as the bad guy, and yet on Saturday he's... the good guy for keeping the fedghosts out? Or are the fedghosts good and Netanyahu evil for keeping them out?

The symbol on 2023s broach is Hecate’s wheel. First seen to represent the Greek goddess in the first century, it was later adopted by wiccan’s. The meaning of the symbol is fairly complex, so I’m sure it will mean something different every time it shows up.

The undercover feds are immigrants but also demons but also possessing spirits. Huh? I know Ishida can't keep a metaphor straight for longer than one strip but how can you paint American federal agents as equivalent to immigrants? What is this loving language?
