everyone talks about how defenses have improved against elite QBs, but it's had a secondary effect of being devastating against crappy QBs. half the league is running out crappy or journeymen QBs and defenses are just giving them nothing

It is wild how committed Getsy is to the principle that Short Pass Solve All Problems He's not even totally off base, it worked on the first drive to get the Bears to beat pressure and move the ball fairly quickly, but once the other team realizes that's what you're doing 90% of the time and it stops reliably getting you into 3rd-and-short situations...do something different
