I wouldn't be shocked to see Harbs bounce if Michigan wins the natty and he somehow has a deal in place before the NCAA goes after him, but I can't imagine a worse place for him to coach right now. Based on the stories with Jed York in SF a decade ago he and Tepper would be physically assaulting each other.

Didn't the NFL say if Harbaugh got suspended or whatever, he'd have to serve it in the pros as well or something?

I haven't kept up with that, but a godawful scenario would absolutely be hiring Harbaugh, him being suspended, and going through a year of an interim coach then Harbaugh.

Nah his three-game suspension was handed down by the Big Ten, the NCAA could still tag him with something. Probably just waiting to see how deep Michigan can go in the CFP.

Correct. Whenever the NCAA finally gets to a punishment (they might not bother at all) the NFL is going to enforce it as well

They haven’t finished the investigation and they found enough to make Michigan jump on a deal with the Big 10. They may just decide to give him time served, but the investigation isn’t closed yet and they will issue come kind of statement.

As much as I don't want Johnson to leave, I'd much rather he go to the Chargers than the Panthers. And I think he's smart enough to know that whatever turned him off of the Panthers job last year probably hasn't changed.

Id take Harbaugh in a heartbeat. I don't care if he came to blows with Tepper. In fact it might actually fix a lot. If it's true and the whole org wanted Stroud over bryce

How the gently caress are you not a strong enough personality to tell tepper to go gently caress himself if you can't advocate the pick you're so sure on right.

Id rather lose a coach a year in because he punches the owner in his yap than lose one ten games in because he's gutless.

Harbaugh's a giant weirdo but between being a brutal rear end in a top hat to Jed York, openly advocating for NCAA players to get paid, and being a decent coach he's won me over. I would love to see him rip Tepper a new rear end in a top hat
