FSS if that impact had been real, he would not be behaving as if it was a slightly embarrassing but ultimately minor mishap, he'd be concussed at best. It is a stunt and the dude in the background is playing it up for the camera (for about two seconds).

That rope stunt is pretty impressive tbh. Aside from acting or whatever you can absolutely notice the trick rope if you rewatch the first few seconds a few times, but it's good enough that I'm not even annoyed by it.
