I get that car makers were hoping for broader adoption more quickly, but there is so much doom and gloom but like where consumers actually buy a lot of new cars, it feels like they are everywhere.

I want to believe this thing will be a disaster, but truck buyers are extremely stupid, fact-immune, and have too much money, much like Tesla buyers and Elon stans, so it's really a great fit.

I'm going to be honest. A tiny little part of me kind of wants a Cybertruck. It's so stupid and hilarious looking. Like a clown car, or the polar opposite of a clown car. An anti clown car. Imagine driving a meme car. On the other hand, I wouldn't want people to imagine I endorse Elon for even a fraction of a second, and I'm not some silverspoon techbro who can buy an overpriced hunk of junk as a joke. Can't wait for all the future flavors of catastrophic failure these will have.
