Better than the Silent Hill comics. The one I just posted from was a translation of a Hong Kong series, so it had the unpredictable energy to match the games, and even though the art was wildly variable, I ended up liking it overall.

So 82.17 is like 400 miles inland from the coast of Antarctica. But it's not super far from the northern coast of Greenland. So maybe they're supposed to be up there? Cuz it's hard to imagine they missed hundred of miles of frozen continent and found like the only random lake at that lattitude

Edit: actually, there's a good chunk of northern Greenland at that lattitude. I choose to believe they're in Greenland being sinister

Greenland isn't near Antarctica. I think they meant 82.17 degrees South.

Yeah, 82.17S is 400ish miles inland on Antarctica. 82.17N is north coastal Greenland. I think the latter makes more sense given the seaplanes and whatnot. I assume it's maybe a mix-up of Arctic/Antarctic. Or just plain stupidity, really xould go either way

This Umbrella base is very much supposed to be in Antarctica, so they probably just picked a number without looking into it too hard. I don't think the latitude was mentioned in the game, but that would be one of Capcom's less egregious factual errors.

Yeah, that's what I meant! I looked at his list of powers on Wikipedia and I could think of several ways he could avoid wood-based physical trauma.

If his ring is anything like the 'modern' ones, he could program it to constantly project a thought control command about NOT hitting the guy in the cape with wooden objects!
