Looked it up, and Family Guy Season 22 started airing on October 1st, 2023. I can't remember which season I last watched, its been awhile. According to Wikipedia the show has been steadily declining in viewership, each season having less than the last. Season 1 was apparently the peak for viewership. The fanbase dropped by over 50% after that.

They�ve moved the show to Wednesdays which in television terms is basically the equivalent of putting a show in hospice care.

Has that exciting "building up a run" feeling I get from Binding of Issac that encourages you to try just...one...more...time without the ugly Flash Game artwork

When the first season came out the constant cutaway gags were a new thing for TV and made the show feel sorta fresh- think they literally had a separate writers room just for 'em.

I have no idea how it's still going and who the hell is watching it, like the Simpsons. Just inertia?

Can't really hate the creator of the show because he somehow tricked Fox into funding his Star Trek TNG fanfic

Well that's the thing, Embracer was assuming that the Saudi Public Investment fund was going to give them the money, but that fell through. So they were now stuck with a ton of studios they had bought and no money.
