The Pattinson Batman just posted on Netflix yesterday so I thought I'd watch it again. (7.5/10) I pulled out* my Batmobile. I popped off a piece on the hood by accident. "Orange and yellow. I finally built my Countach. Once again the windshield piece is just thrown in the pack with all the other pieces so it's scratched. I really like how the back of the car is built. The pieces slanting against the cones to make the tail lights is really cool. I don't like how they kind of made the doors able to open and close (albeit the wrong way for a three comma man such as myself) and then you immediately put a long tile to seal them shut.

There's some pretty sweet mechs coming. Definitely picking up both the Monkie Kid's Mini Mech and Mei's Dragon Mech. Really digging all the extra scenery included with the latter.

Was building the carriage GWP while my kid helped (played with it) and managed to break off the front axle?? I’ve never had a Lego piece just snap like that before, and I was really rough on my sets as a kid  Do I order a replacement? Will they just replace it for me?

Well...that was kinda odd. I think it was Bag 25 of the Museum. You know how there are often smaller bags inside the bigger bags? Well, there was a smaller bag that had 7 pieces in it. Nothing missing. Just 7 pieces. When I first saw it I thought, Uh oh, but it ended up fine.

They closed the San Francisco LEGO store unexpectedly at the end of the November. It was in a notably dying mall, but it seemed like it was still doing business to me! Feels crazy to close a LEGO store in December IMHO.

Undoubtedly the management of the mall has something to do with it though, I don't think the bank that took things over from Westfield has been trying very hard, they probably just want to sell the whole property to a developer. Yeah that does suck. Banks give no fucks when they take over any property, they don’t do poo poo and they just hold onto it forever because they’re not particularly motivated sellers. I’ve seen whole housing developments sit doing nothing for years when the developer goes bankrupt. I’m a little surprised Lego didn’t try to quickly secure another location and just move everyone but perhaps it’s a sign of the feeling about being in SF right now.
