How come nobody tried building an exploding battery rig on an airplane yet? I know the explosive power of LiPo cells isn't high but they're incendiary.

I believe there are limits on how big/powerful of lithium batteries you can take on board, at least in some countries. Maybe you could get a similar effect with a bunch of smaller ones together but I imagine that would also get the side eye at security. There was a UPS or FedEx plane that went down in the Middle East a few years ago that was traced to a lithium battery fire in the cargo. But this is getting a bit off topic unless you’re planning to flame broil some burgers in the lav.

They already have smoke detectors in there for exactly this reason.

There is probably a theoretical limit, like if you put a rolling bag absolutely chock full of batteries and nothing else through the X-ray machine But I've traveled with two laptops, a switch, and two power banks in one bag and they didn't bat an eye That's certainly enough to uh, cook some shrimp

They were tapping on the glass ,wanting me to open up again. I went out with a tray of doughnuts to placate them and there were people running up from all directions."

In seriousness though the hypothesis writing was just invented once in Sumeria and spread around is not widely believed anymore. Writing at the very least was invented twice, in Sumeria and Mesoamerica, but it also appears to have been independently invented in China and possibly Egypt. The alphabet specifically seems to have only been invented once though and all alphabetic scripts are derived from it in some way.
