Hell, I have to wear safety glasses when I pour a glass of water. For some reason no matter how far away I am from the water source whenever I pour a liquid into another liquid it splashes up into my eye. Not good

Freak accidents aside, the organization protects rapists and pedophiles so NHL delenda est. That said, kids playing hockey should have better neck protection. Necks getting sliced/struck/broke is how hockey players are most grievously injured

I don't think it got followed up here: the UK police did actually arrest someone on suspicion of manslaughter after the ice hockey throat slashing death (they didn't name a name but it's not a long list of possibilities...). It might never amount to anything but there was enough possibility for them to at least investigate and not just immediately put it down as a freak accident.
